Hello! Thank-you for visiting Melissa Hartigan Photography. I am a CT Baby Photographer with a studio in Coventry. Not only do I absolutely love taking photos but also being a part of these special moments in people’s lives. My goal is to give my clients beautiful photographs they can cherish forever. I truly hope you enjoy this recent post. Here is a little peek into my Newborn Session with the precious Kinsley.

Kinsley Newborn Session

I had the pleasure of meeting Mom Mallery last November when we did a studio tour and discussed session options.  Since I custom design every session, I like to talk or meet the parents before the session. There we can discuss not only my client’s style preferences but visions they have for their photos. Mallery reserved her due date a few days later for me to be her CT Baby Photographer.  I was honored she chose me to photograph her new daughter when she arrives. 

Tiny Little Love

Kinsley was tiny and cute as can be. She was amazing during her session and I was able to get her in a lot of great poses.  For posing ideas, check out my Pinterest Page. She was adorable sleeping in my metal bucket with that gorgeous smile on her face. I was so happy I was able to capture this moment, as newborn smiles are very hard to get. The pink, floral headband was a perfect touch to the photo. 

Kinsley was as adorable in the white wrap with the matching hat with ears. She looked like a little sleeping bear! She also had just a hint of a smile in that photo. How wonderful it is to capture all their new expressions. In fact, throughout the session she made the most precious smiles and pouts. I was so happy that I got to be her CT Newborn and Baby Photographer and document this special moment in her life.

Mom chose Light Pink and White.

Melissa Hartigan Photography has an extensive prop collection and a beautiful couture newborn wardrobe available for use during each session. Mallery wanted light Pink and White for Kinsley’s Newborn Session.  I love her sleeping on the pink blanket with the small white headband. She also looks beautiful wrapped in pink while being held by Mom and her Dad Matthew. In addition, the props I hand selected worked perfectly for her. I loved putting her in the froggy pose while wearing my tiny tiara. What a little princess!

Mom also wanted to do a simple holiday set-up since Christmas was just around the corner. I am always happy to give my clients any set-ups they want, as this is their session and I want them to love their photos. I decided to place Kinsley in a wooden bucket wearing a deep red headband. To finish off the look, I added red and green Christmas balls around the bucket.  It will be a fantastic holiday for them with their new little love.
