Melissa was a pleasure to work with. She was super responsive to my emails and scheduled us for a time that was convenient with our work schedules. I dreamt of having a picture of my toddler kissing his little brother (via my belly). When we brought our toddler in he was at the height of his terrible two phase and this had us frazzled, but Melissa was as cool as a cucumber. She was so patient and managed to get me to relax and voila we got the exact shot I wanted.
She had gorgeous gowns to pick from and found two that complemented my personality and skin tone. (I've had so many people ask me where I found my maternity gowns.)
We got our sneak peak photos so quickly it surprised me. I was also blown away by the final products.
I HIGHLY recommend Melissa to anyone considering maternity and newborn photos. She is so professional and passionate about her craft. There is no way you will walk away unsatisfied.

We did both a maternity photo shoot and a newborn photo shoot with Melissa, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome! She makes everything so easy - she has dresses and beautiful locations for the maternity shoot, and all the props for the newborn shoot. She does beautiful work, and is so sweet! I was late booking everything (pregnant with baby #2 makes things harder to set up) and Melissa worked with us on short notice so that we were able to have our photos taken. And when my toddler wasn't cooperating, she was kind and patient. I can't say enough good things about Melissa and her work. I'm SO very happy that we went with her to document these important times in our lives.

Melissa is an amazing photographer and we love our pictures. Her studio is very professional - she makes it extremely cozy for both parents and baby with music, lavender scent, and even a kitchen with refreshments. I even got to catch up on some sleep and my husband got work done while Melissa did her thing. 2026 Booking Update
⭐️Scheduling Update⭐️ MHP is currently booking into September 2026
So many inquires from last minute expectant mamas due in 2026 as well as inquires for maternity, family and milestone sessions. MHP will only schedules a certain number of sessions each month so I am able to accommodate babies that come early or are late and offer the most amazing experience to all clients.
Session Retainers are required to hold your due date and/or session day and time, retainers are due upon acceptance, if they are not received your date will be released.
