The moments after you have given birth and the time with your brand new baby is simply magical. Their first breaths, their first cries, their first feeding, the very first cuddles with you, the first time meeting their big brother or sister. These moments are so fleeting and they are such an important part of the next chapter in your families story, the story of your family that deserves to be captured and frozen in time to have and cherish for years to come.

Fresh 48 session are to do just that, I am there to capture your brand new baby’s firsts. I do this in the comfort of your hospital room hours after meeting your newest family member. After you have settled into your room I will come in and document these firsts. Fresh 48 sessions are natural and unposed peeks into your life and the bond with your new baby. I do not bring props or lights. This will just be me capturing your baby’s sweet new moments in a fresh natural way!

Fresh 48 sessions are about one hour long and take place within the first 24-48 hours after birth during the daylight hours, before 2pm. Your session will include an emotion filled gallery of beautiful images that tells your family’s story. Fresh48 sessions are not meant to replace the traditional newborn studio sessions; rather they are another way to document this very special time in your life.

Due to the on-call nature of Fresh 48 sessions, I do only accept a certain number of sessions each month, so if you are interested in reserving your due date it is suggested doing so as soon as you know you would like to have one. Clients typically reserve their Fresh 48 session in their second trimester of pregnancy.
