Babies grow and change in the blink of an eye. It is so important to capture their milestones as they begin. The first milestone to capture after their newborn session would be when they are sitting independently. Others to follow would be their first birthday, and yearly portraits to document these yearly milestones. You may be wondering what truly goes on in a milestone session. What makes these sessions different from your everyday school photos?

Well, sessions may be held in studio or on location. I will assist you in outfit and accessory selections, whether it be headbands or what shoes to wear.  I am happy to give you a few of my favorite children’s shops, and what to look for when shopping for outfits. Feel free to ask, I’m happy to assist however I can.

Once you arrive for the session, I like to take a little time to interact with your children on their level, let them play and become comfortable.  During the session we laugh, play, make silly sounds and faces, just about everything possible to capture your children’s unique expressions and natural smiles.  Depending on the milestone session chosen a milestone session can last anywhere between 20 minutes to an hour from start to finish.
