From True Love to Baby – CT Newborn & Baby Milestone Photographer

Everyone loves a good love story; especially a story where there is the birth of a child, right? I know I do. Rachel and Joseph’s story started when they met in 3^rd grade. Having grown up together in school their friendship turned into love when they dated for a short time while in high school. Graduation came and both ventured off to pursue college educations. They didn’t connect again until they both moved home after graduating from college and that’s where they reunited and rekindled their love story. They love to be outdoors, travel around and attend different sporting events, as well as spending quality time with their families and friends.

The biggest chapter of Rachel and Joseph’s story through and through is the sweet baby girl that they welcomed into their arms and their hearts – a tiny baby girl that they named, Delaney. The root of their love started in 3rd grade, but the heart of where it is now, lies within a sweet baby girl who surely is the light of their life. After all, she is the baby who made them parents. This is only just the beginning of their story for the rest of their life.

Delaney’s mom was drawn to neutrals at the time she booked her newborn session, but once sweet little Delaney arrived, she knew she wanted to use cream and blue colors – and oh my, have I mentioned how much I love baby girls in blue?

Sitting up Baby Milestone Session – Sitter Session Baby Photography

Babies sitting up are one of my favorite milestones to capture. The sweet expressions of a baby are undeniably sweet. Delaney had no shortage of sweet expressions for her milestone session. Much like her newborn session, she gave me smiles all session long. Mom requested cream and blue colors to keep Delaney’s baby story cohesive.

Turning One – One Year Baby Milestone Session

Delaney definitely showed me how much she had grown throughout the past year since I took her newborn photos, to her sitting up photos and now to her one year cake smash session. She brought so much personality with her to her session and oh goodness, the sweetest of expressions to go along with it. And, she was ready to eat cake!

I always focus on capturing the one year standing milestone and all those details that go along with it, and then when we’ve finished capturing the fun, playful side of turning one, we’ll save the best for last and will get right to the cake smashing. Delaney looked absolutely adorable with her sprinkled cake and I’m pretty sure she loved those  enjoying those sprinkles too.

Props are always pre-selected based off the color choices that you choose prior to your session. Custom set-ups are then designed around your color choices.
