Hopes, Wishes and Dreams for Baby – Experienced Connecticut Newborn Photographer

Alexandra and Rob are just like every new parent that has brought a child into the world. All parents have hopes, wishes and dreams for their children as they grow up and experience life and the world around them. As an active couple, they love to go skiing in Vermont, paddle boarding on Bolton Lake, and as parents, they hope that one day their son, Theodore, will grow up to love doing those things too. Sometimes we have big hopes and dreams for our children. Other times, we only hope that the simple things in life will become the heart of our children.

Theodore was so good for his newborn session, and I was able to capture his newness just perfectly. During newborn sessions at the Melissa Hartigan Photography studio, we always go off baby’s cues and stop as needed so your baby can feed and cuddle, and when it came to Theodore, we stopped to give him just that – a little break to feed and a whole lot of mama love.

Fall Baby Newborn Photos

Expecting their baby during the fall, Alexandra wanted to capture Theodore’s newborn session with fall colors and commemorate the season that their son was born. Theodore looked amazing in all the rich, warm colors of autumn. I especially loved creating a a seasonal setup and capturing him pumpkin style.

There is nothing more than I would rather capture than the newness of a newborn baby. Everything about a new baby is so fresh, so new, so delicate. It’s always those newborn details that are the first to become the distant memory as your baby grows. That’s why it’s always so important not to miss capturing those tiny details and those first newborn moments. Once the newborn stage is done, it’s over and gone forever. Make sure to preserve those moments!
