Hi there! Thanks so much for visiting Melissa Hartigan Photography – Connecticut Infant Photographer.  Grab a cup of coffee, get cozy wherever you’re seated and enjoy browsing around my blog for a while. For those that are here visiting for the first time, I specialize in maternity, newborn, baby milestone and family photography for all of Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island. I photograph maternity, family and senior portrait sessions at scenic locations around the state, and have a beautiful studio located in Coventry, CT. My studio is where I also photograph maternity sessions, and all my studio newborn and baby milestone sessions.  I absolutely love doing newborn photography, and it’s a true honor to be a part of these special moments in people’s lives as they welcome their new baby into the world. Here is a little peek into my newborn session with Brady!

Handsome Baby Brady – Connecticut Infant Photographer

Jennifer is mom to three year old Mackenzie and newborn baby boy, Brady. I had the pleasure of photographing big sister Mackenzie’s newborn photos three years ago, and now I’ve had the pleasure of photographing Brady’s newborn photos. I’m so blessed with being able to give my clients beautiful photos of their new babies, but I’m also so blessed when my clients return for more newborn photo sessions as they add more children to their growing family. Big sister Mackenzie was at preschool the day of her baby brother’s newborn photo shoot, but I don’t doubt she is so proud to have become a big sister.

Brady was such a relaxed newborn baby that he barely made a peep for his newborn session. We took a little break so he could eat and get some snuggle time with mom and then he was right back to being a sleepy baby boy. He was such a good baby, that I was able to bring a little more of my creative side out and create some amazing setups and truly capture the essence of the life of a newborn baby – sleepy soundly. Mom requested blues and creams for his newborn session and I think he looked simply perfect with all the light blue color tones and creams that we did. The teddy bear set ups and the counting sheep have to be some of my favorites for him session. What are your favorites?

Brady’s Grandma Harriet came along for his newborn session so we could capture a generational family photo. I love when grandparents come and take the opportunity to get a precious photograph with their new grandchild.

My goal as CT portrait photographer is to give my clients beautiful photographs they can cherish, and an experience to remember why they chose custom portrait photography to capture their memories.
