As an Infant Photographer in Southern Connecticut, I photograph babies of all ages and capture all the milestones throughout baby’s first year in my photography studio located in Coventry, CT. I absolutely adore being a newborn and baby milestone photographer! Here is a peek into Jackson’s Newborn Session, Sitting Baby Milestone Session and One Year Milestone Session that I had the honor of documenting for this sweet family!

Newborn to First Birthday Photos – Southern CT Newborn & Baby Milestone Photographer

Megan and Ryan are parents to two fur babies, and now to handsome little Jackson, who might very well be the happiest baby boy on the block. Not only do their fur babies love their human baby brother, but Jackson loves his fur brothers just the same. They traveled all the way from Old Lyme in Southern Connecticut for Jackson’s newborn session. I’m always so appreciative when my clients come from a far to have me take their baby’s newborn photos and their first professional family photo.

Jackson was sleeping peacefully when he was being posed and he looked so handsome in all the blues and greys that I used for his newborn photos. They are some of my favorite color combinations for a baby boy’s newborn photos.

Connecticut Sitting up Baby Milestone Photos – Sitter Session Baby Photography

Jackson is such a happy baby and he has been since he was a newborn. I think he loves being in front of the camera because he always looked at the camera and gave me these big baby smiles – smiles that lasted for days.

First Birthday Cake Smash Photos – One Year Baby Milestone Session

I always love capturing a baby’s celebratory first birthday milestone, especially as they become curious about the sugary dessert that sits before them during their cake smash session. They might recognize what the sweet treat is, or it might be the first time they have seen it, and for that their curiosity is piqued even just to swipe their finger in the icing to have a little taste. Some babies are unsure about the delicious icing and others love to dive right in. Jackson loved it and dove right in. I captured some really adorable photos of him enjoying his first birthday smash cake.

I feel so touched to have been given the honor with documenting his first days, his sitting milestone and absolutely loved being a part of capturing his first year of life.

Southern CT Newborn Photographer with Props

As a studio newborn photographer in South Connecticut, I am always adding beautiful new knitted and quality handmade props to my studio newborn and baby prop collection. Melissa Hartigan Photography clients always have access to these props for their newborn and baby milestone sessions. You won’t need to worry about bringing any props for your session. All that you need to bring is yourselves and your happy baby ready to photograph.
