I absolutely love taking photos of expectant couples, babies and families. Baby Photography isn’t just photographing newborns; it’s also capturing babies of all ages and capturing all the special baby milestones throughout their first year after birth. Here is a little peek into Beckett’s All-Inclusive One Year Baby Milestone session. This is his baby story.

Beckett Cake Smash Photos – Ellington Baby Photography

Mary and Jared brought sweet Beckett back into the studio after his newborn photos and sitting up milestone session to capture his one-year cake smash session. Having photographed many, many sessions with this sweet family from Newborn to Sitter and One Year Milestones as well as family sessions with both of their boys, it’s always great to see them again. I just adore capturing baby milestone sessions after newborn sessions, because not only do I get to capture more baby memories for parents but I also get to see just how much my littlest clients have grown throughout the year since capturing their newborn photos.

Beckett was amazing for his session, he so many adorable expressions that I captured. Beckett loves watching big brother Milo and their pup run around. He can’t wait to be a little more mobile so he can walk all around. When it came to his cake smash, we did a very simple cake smash, keeping the focus on him, which is how I love to photograph milestone sessions. We started with setups in the studio using props and capturing Beckett and then we moved onto the cake smash. Beckett was happy and curious about the delicious treat in front of him. Overall, I think he enjoyed this one-year milestone photoshoot and cake smash.

As a Maternity and Newborn Photographer, I get the pleasure of meeting new families with new babies every day. Not only do I love being a newborn photographer, but I also love photographing babies of all ages and capturing all those special baby milestones from pushing up, sitting up, standing up, their first birthday milestone and all the baby details like first baby teeth and the adorable toothy grins. As quick as the newborn stage passes, so does a baby’s first year and all the different stages of the baby milestones. It’s so important not to miss capturing those major milestones and details either.
