I absolutely love taking photos of expectant couples, babies and families. Baby Photography isn’t just photographing newborns; it’s also capturing babies of all ages and capturing all the special baby milestones throughout their first year after birth. Here is a little peek into Honor’s All-Inclusive One Year Baby Milestone session. This is his baby story.

Honor’s Cake Smash Photos – West Hartford Baby Photography

Jasmin and Kristi brought their sweet one year old son Honor into the studio to capture his celebratory first year milestone pictures with the All-Inclusive Milestone Session. I love capturing baby milestone sessions throughout a baby’s first year of life, because not only do I get to document these precious moments but I get to see just how much my littlest clients are growing and meeting all their baby milestones.  Honor was such a happy baby boy, smiley, giggly and I got a glimpse of his growing personality. He was the star of the show and was ready to capture his special one-year milestone.

Honor is a very silly little human! He’s always on the move and likes to explore things around him. He’s into his walker, playing with the family dog Ashland, and reading books from his ‘library’. He loves watching Sesame Street and is really into the theme song and music from the show. As a family, they spend a lot of time indoors, cooking, eating, playing games, and reading lots and lots of stories. Honor loves his daycare and enjoys spending time with his day-care friends, playing with bubbles, and reading with his teachers. Mom, Jasmin is a former Kindergarten teacher who moved to Connecticut from California to be closer to family during the pandemic, and Mom, Kristi is a resident chef that keeps their family well-fed and well loved. When they venture out as a family of three, they make going to the grocery store and Target big adventures for Honor. They go for long walks around the neighborhood when they’re able to and love spending time together.

When it came to his cake smash, Honor was happy and excited when he saw his cake and when I was ready to snap away, he was right in there, digging right in and tasting his sweet treat and making a fun mess. All in all, Honor really loved his cake smash, so I would call it a huge success.

As a Maternity and Newborn Photographer, I get the pleasure of meeting new families with new babies every day. Not only do I love being a newborn photographer, but I also love photographing babies of all ages and capturing all those special baby milestones from pushing up, sitting up, standing up, their first birthday milestone and all the baby details like first baby teeth and the adorable toothy grins.
