Over the years that I have been specializing in and offering maternity photography to expectant parents in Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts, I’ve always been so humbled when being chosen to capture the joy and anticipation that awaits the birth of their new little love. Lauren and Ryan are just one of the many and sweetest couples that I’ve had the pleasure of meeting when doing their maternity photos while they’ve waited for their baby to be born.

Boutique Maternity Gowns

I first had the pleasure of meeting Lauren a few weeks ahead of her maternity session when she came to my studio to try on some maternity dresses and choose which gowns that she wanted to wear for her session. I have a beautiful collection of boutique maternity gowns in a variety of colors and a style for mom’s to wear during their session. Choosing a maternity gown from my collection leaves my clients with one less expense to worry about for their session, and I’m always happy to offer these gowns to all my beautiful maternity clients.

Maternity photos in winter – a breezy January in Connecticut

The day of Lauren and Ryan’s maternity session ended up being super windy. Along with the wind came a little bit of a chill in the air, but you would almost never know it because these two were equipped for the breeze. Mom came dressed wearing this beautiful shall to keep her cozy and warm, and they brought some hot chocolate to drink as well.

Mama Bear and Papa Bear Waiting for Baby Bear

How cute can one couple get with those mama and papa bear mugs that they brought? They filled them with hot chocolate and it was the perfect added touch to the chilly winter maternity session that we had together at the end of January.

We weathered the breeze and I captured Lauren’s natural and stunning maternal beauty. They truly showed me their connection as a couple and the love for their new baby girl that they were about to meet. It was an absolute honor being their maternity photographer.
