Not only do I absolutely love taking newborn photos but also love being a part of these special moments in people’s lives. My goal is to give my clients beautiful photographs of their new baby that they can cherish forever. Here is a little peek into my Newborn Session with handsome Owen.

Owen’s Newborn Session – Baby Photography in CT

Some of the best parts about a newborn session that I love photographing are the newness of a baby and posing them in adorable newborn photography poses that seriously melt your heart.  I also love getting to know my clients and forming a relationship with them towards a friendship. Newborn sessions take a lot of time, patience and finesse trying to perfect the perfect newborn poses, so while I work my magic posing baby we can chat. These are the times when I get to know my clients and their family.

Their Story Before Baby – Baby Photographer in CT

Caitlin and Anthony were married at Tyrone Farms a few years ago and they absolutely loved it there for their wedding. It is a really beautiful place. Before baby Owen made his anticipated arrival, they decided to go on a little Babymoon in Maine to a tiny little town called Camden. They had so much fun checking it out and enjoying all the bookstores and great restaurants that it had to offer. It makes me want to take a little trip there with my family. They shared with me what they did for work, and I learned that mom is a former English teacher who now works in a K-8 Museum school and Dad is a 3D Animator. He showed me a few examples of his work and it is amazing! These are the things that I love to get to know about my clients.

Those Cheeks Could Melt Hearts

Owen was so cute, sleepy and snuggly and I just wanted to keep him. He was amazing during his session and slept almost the entire time. Those cheeks of his are something out of this world and they seriously melt my heart.

Mom chose Green, Tan and Brown for Newborn Photos

Caitlin wanted green, tan and brown colors for Owen’s Newborn Session and he looked so handsome in the green tones with his fair skin. I just adored him in all the setups that I was so lucky to get because he barely made a peep. Mom and Dad had followed the prep guidelines right down to the last detail.  When clients book their newborn session with me, they receive some guidelines to follow to help prepare for our session together. Since Caitlin and Anthony had followed the preparation guidelines it truly made all the difference for Owen’s successful and sleepy newborn session. Specializing in posed baby photography in CT, this gave me the opportunity to work my magic and pose him in those adorable and highly sought after baby photos.

I loved meeting Caitlin and Anthony and getting to know them and their story. They were such a sweet couple and Owen was a perfect baby for his newborn session. For Owen’s session, I used outfits, hats and props from No. 2 Willow Lane, Little Bean Creations, Roses and Ruffles, Red Owl Photo Props and Pooks and Lulu.
