Baby Alicia Cherished Newborn Session – Waterbury Newborn Photographer

Like so many other Melissa Hartigan Photography clients, Alicia and Adella’s mom, Jennifer, found me on Google looking for Connecticut newborn photographers to capture her new baby’s newborn photos and capture her two beautiful children together. They traveled from Waterbury CT to my studio in Coventry CT for Alicia’s newborn session. I’m always so honored when I get to capture a families newborn photos, but, it is so touching when my clients travel any length of distance just to have me capture their baby’s first professional photos.

When the joy of a new baby is expected in one’s own family, we tend to wonder what features and personality traits that our baby will inherit from us; mothers laugh, fathers eyes, grandma’s cheeks or grandpa’s smile? Of course, with all the old wives tales told out there, if you experienced heartburn throughout your pregnancy they say you should expect your baby to have a head full of hair. Is there any truth to that..?.. Well, that truth is yet to be uncovered. What I do know, is when you are a baby that is born with a head full of hair, newborn photographers love, and I mean LOVE, photographing and accentuating all that newborn hair! This sweet girl has no shortage of hair and she looked absolutely darling with all the headbands and tiebacks that I used for her session. Who doesn’t love a newborn baby with luscious locks of hair?

Always a Sister, Forever a Friend – Waterbury Baby & Sibling Photos

Adella is a sweet 2 year old girl who has already filled her heart with a love for music and singing. For this sweet little girl, something new and very big has been taking up space in her heart.

These days, Adella is growing and filling her heart with a new kind of love – a love in sisterhood and friendship with her new baby sister, Alicia.  Siblings make the best of buddies. In their bond as sisters, they will always have each other as best friends.

Pink & Purple for Baby Girl – Newborn Photos Waterbury CT

Jennifer chose pink and purple tones to capture her newest daughter’s newborn session. Rich, muted, soft, jewel tones – I love all the different colors selected for her session and they all worked so well with Alicia’s newborn skin tone. As a boutique newborn photographer in CT, I love offering clients a multitude of color choices for their newborn sessions. Having the option to choose the colors and tones that go best with baby’s nursery, what colors work in your home, and which colors you love best is a just one piece of the whole newborn photo shoot process that new parents absolutely love to be a part of; and I am happy to offer that to my clients.
