Newborn Photographer CT | Oliver

Hello! Thank-you for visiting Melissa Hartigan Photography. I am a Newborn Photographer CT with a studio in Coventry. Not only do I absolutely love taking photos but also being a part of these special moments in people’s lives. My goal is to give my clients beautiful photographs they can cherish forever. I truly hope you enjoy this recent post. Here is a little peek into my recent Newborn Session with the adorable Oliver.

Oliver Newborn Session

Mom Holly from Somers, CT contacted Melissa Hartigan Photography to be her Newborn Photographer CT to photograph her little Oliver.  I was honored she chose me to capture this special moment in her life. Since I custom design every session, I like to talk or meet the parents before the session. There we can discuss not only my client’s style preferences but visions they have for their photos.

Those Cheeks!

Oliver has those chubby cheeks that you just want to grab a hold of.  Love how they look in all his photos, especially when he was in the froggy pose.  His little hands wrapped around his little face is almost too much. I also loved the way he pursed his lips…too perfect!

He slept like a champ, so I was able to pose him well. For posing ideas, check out my Pinterest Page. He looks so adorable sleeping in my little teddy bear while tucked under the gray blanket. My gray knitted hat with ears was a perfect fishing touch. Oliver was also precious sleeping in my metal bucket with the blue blanket. Such a little angel. 

I love getting family poses. Dad Richard was also at the session so I had to get the three of them posed together. What a beautiful family they make. Fun facts about the family:  Dad LOVES math and Mom is an English teacher who loves to read and write.

Mom chose Blue, Green and Gray.

Melissa Hartigan Photography has an extensive prop collection and a beautiful couture newborn wardrobe available for use during each session. Clients just need to tell me the colors they would like to see used as well as any visions or style preferences they have for the photos. I use these and custom style their newborn session to make it perfect for them.

Holly chose the colors Blue, Green and Gray for Oliver’s Newborn Session.  I love him sleeping with the light gray knit cap. He is also too cute in the little plaid hat. In addition, the props I hand selected worked perfectly for him. He looks precious sleeping in the wooden bowl with the plaid blanket. What a handsome man and a joy to photograph.
