Hello! Thank-you for visiting Melissa Hartigan Photography and viewing my most recent blog post, CT Newborn Photographer | Naugatuck CT. For those who are new to my blog, I’m a CT Newborn Photographer specializing in custom newborn and maternity photography. It is such an honor each time I am hired to capture these amazing life moments.  Newborn sessions are the beginning of this precious new babies life story. Here is a little peek into a recent newborn session with Miss Ainara who traveled to my Coventry CT studio from Naugatuck, CT.

Ainara Newborn Session – CT Newborn Photograper

Let me start by telling you as a CT newborn photographer that Mother Nature is very unpredictable and can sometimes be tough to work with. Little did we know that the day of the session we were going to have a huge snowstorm. I was a little worried about having the session due to the possible trechourous driving conditions. Thankfully Mom and Dad were adventurous and were able to make it to my Coventry CT studio with no problems.

It may have been cold and snowy outside but inside my private studio it was warm and cozy, the heat was cranking and we were ready for this sweet baby girl’s first professional photo session.

At 78 degrees inside Ainara became very sleepy and quite content making it possible to capture these really wonderful images. Mom really wanted the Froggy pose and she nailed it! Ainara was amazing throughout the entire session and we were able to pose in so many different ways. She was excellent in every pose. One of my favorite images from this session was Ainara hugging the hand knit rabbit, she was simply adorable in that image! I used several headbands, little outfits and wraps from my wonderful vendors. Melissa Hartigan Photography has an extensive prop collection and a beautiful couture newborn wardrobe. Parents don’t need to worry about props or set ups for their baby. I have it all covered. Clients just need to tell me two colors they would like to see used; from there I custom style their newborn session.

It was interesting to see just how much snow had fallen by the end of our wonderful session. I hope you enjoy these beautiful images and a little sneak peak.

We used items from Pooks and Lulu, Roses and Ruffles and Sunshine baby props just to name a few.
