Hello! Thank-you for visiting Melissa Hartigan Photography and viewing my most recent blog post. For those who are new to my blog, I’m a Newborn Photographer with a studio in Coventry, CT. I love to capture special memories in people’s lives and give them beautiful photographs they can cherish forever. I am so happy to be a part of these families special time and truly hope you enjoy this recent post. Here is a little peek into my recent CT Newborn Photographer East Hartford Session with little Alexander.

CT Newborn Photographer East Hartford Session – Alexander

Mom Tanya contacted Melissa Hartigan Photography last June to do a Maternity Session.  We were able to do a beautiful photo shoot, and then she scheduled me to do thier little one’s Fresh48 and Newborn Sessions after he was born. I was honored that they choose me to be their CT Newborn Photographer to capture these special moments in their lives. 

Little Alexander was born in August. He had the most beautiful, full head of dark hair. Alexander also had the cutest little birth mark that his parents say we say was an angels kiss from his Grandpa who passed away right before Alexander was born. He made the most perfect, little expressions when he was being posed.   I loved him in the froggy pose. For other posing ideas, check out my Pinterest Page.  I always love getting a family photo, and Alexander looked so happy and content in the arms of his mom and Dad Miguel. I absolutely love being a CT Newborn Photographer and love that families choose me to capture these special moments in their lives.

Parents chose Blue, Cream and Teal.

Little Alexander’s parents chose the colors blue, cream and teal for his Newborn Session.  Those colors looked great with his dark hair. I also loved all the little knit hats that he wore.  The props I hand selected worked perfectly for him. He looked especially cute sleeping on the metal bucket with the blue blanket and hat.  Also throughout the session I used several pants and wraps.

Melissa Hartigan Photography has an extensive prop collection and a beautiful couture newborn wardrobe. Parents don’t need to worry about props or setups for their baby because I have it all covered. Clients just need to tell me the colors they would like to see used and from there I custom style their newborn session. Check out my Newborn Gallery for some posing and color ideas. For Alexander’s session, I used outfits, hats and props from No. 2 Willow Lane, Little Bean Creations, Roses and Ruffles,  Red Owl Photo Props and Pooks and Lulu.
