Hello! Thank-you for visiting Melissa Hartigan Photography and viewing my most recent blog post. For those who are new to my blog, I’m a Newborn Photographer with a studio in Coventry, CT. I love to capture special memories in people’s lives and give them beautiful photographs they can cherish forever. I am so happy to be a part of these families special time and truly hope you enjoy this recent post. Here is a little peek into my recent CT Newborn Photographer Stafford Session with little Gavin.

CT Newborn Photographer Stafford Session – Gavin

Dad Tony contacted Melissa Hartigan Photography when little Gavin was 7 days old to do a Newborn Session.  I happened to have an opening and was able to fit them it. Typically sessions are scheduled months in advance, and most moms contact me once they find out they are pregnant.  Nonetheless, I was thrilled I had an opening and was able to capture this very special time for them.  I was honored that they choose me to be their CT Newborn Photographer to capture these special moments in their lives. 

The adorable Gavin was so little and perfect. While being posed, he made the cutest expressions. I love all his smiles I was able to capture, especially the one of him sleeping under the tan blanket. I always love adding personal touches to my set-up. Gavin sleeping in the wooden bowl, holding onto his parents wedding rings was a favorite photo of mine from this session. He was great at letting me pose him, and looked super cute sleeping in my wooden barrel.

I always love photos posed with the parents, and Gavin looked so tiny held in his father’s arms.  The love his parents have for him was so evident in the photos and Gavin is one lucky little boy. Parents chose Green, Cream and Tan.

Mom Jullian chose the colors Green, Cream and Tan for Gavin’s Newborn Session.  Those colors looked great with against his creamy skin.  I loved putting him in the knit hat with ears and matching blanket.  Although he looked adorable in all the different wraps and hats, his best accessory was his little smile.  Getting a sleepy baby is always fun for trying out all my adorable props. The props I hand selected worked perfectly for him. He looked especially cute sleeping in the wooden crate and metal buckets.

Melissa Hartigan Photography has an extensive prop collection and a beautiful couture newborn wardrobe. Parents don’t need to worry about props or setups for their baby because I have it all covered. Clients just need to tell me the colors they would like to see used and from there I custom style their newborn session. Check out my Newborn Gallery for some posing and color ideas.
