For those who are new to my blog, I’m a Connecticut Newborn Photographer in Coventry, CT who has a passion for photography. I love to capture special memories in people’s lives and give them beautiful photographs they can cherish forever. I am so happy to be a part of these families special time and truly hope you enjoy this recent post. Here is a little peek into my recent Newborn Session with Miss Aubriella from Bolton, CT.

Aubriella Newborn Session

Mom Kayla contacted Melissa Hartigan Photography last January to do Maternity and Newborn Sessions.  We were able to do the Newborn Session in July, after little Aubriella was born. I was honored that Aubriella’s parents came to me to be their Connecticut Newborn Photographer in Coventry to capture this special moment in their lives.

Aubriella was a dream to photograph. She was so sleepy and perfect throughout the entire session.  She was great to pose, and had so many sweet facial expressions. I loved the kissy lips she made when I posed her in the wooden bowl. Her big Brother Dominic tagged along for the session. Their sibling shots came out amazing. He looked so proud holding his little sister, and he had the most amazing long eye lashes. I absolutely love being a Connecticut Newborn Photographer, and love that families choose me to capture these special moments in their lives.

Mom chose Pink and Cream.

Miss Aubriella’s mom chose the colors pink and cream for her Newborn Session. Those colors looked so beautiful against Aubriella’s new angelic skin. Mom wanted a more rustic feel to the prop shots, and she brought the cowboy boots she wore when she got married. I loved posing Aubriella sleeping on the boots. Bringing in personal items always makes for such great and memorable photographs. The other props I hand selected worked perfectly for her, and little bed was especially cute to capture the sleeping angel. Also throughout the session I used several headbands, little outfits and wraps.

Melissa Hartigan Photography has an extensive prop collection and a beautiful couture newborn wardrobe. Parents don’t need to worry about props or setups for their baby. I have it all covered. Clients just need to tell me two colors they would like to see used and from there I custom style their newborn session. Check out my Newborn Gallery for some posing and color ideas. For Aubriella’s session, I used outfits, headbands and props from Mia Joy Studios, Little Bean Creations, and Pooks and Lulu.
