For those who are new to my blog, I’m a Newborn and Maternity Photographer with a studio in Coventry, Connecticut.  I feel honored that I get to be a part of a family’s special moments. Brayden Mini Newborn Session

Mom Amanda contacted Melissa Hartigan Photography after baby Brayden was born to do a Mini Newborn Session.  I have been photographing their family for a few years, as the family also has two older brothers. I was honored that Brayden’s parents chose me to be their Newborn Photographer to capture this special moment in their lives.

Brayden was a joy to photograph and so handsome with his dark hair. He slept the entire time and never made a peep. I was able to capture some beautiful photos as I posed him in different set-ups.  I always love doing the mom and baby shots. They are so special to have these images and cherish them forever. Brayden was lucky to have his grandma come as well to the session. The photos turned out so wonderful for Brayden Mini Newborn Session that Amanda decided to upgrade her package and get addition images.  I absolutely love being a Newborn photographer. I especially love that I’m chosen to capture these amazing memories over and over again for families.

Mom choose Blue and Cream.

Amanda choose the colors Blue and Cream for Brayden Mini Newborn Session.  He looked so handsome in the different shades of blues and creams, especially the blue knit pants. The props I hand selected worked perfectly for him, and he was adorable sleeping in the little antique white bed. Also throughout the session I used several hats and wraps.

Melissa Hartigan Photography has an extensive prop collection and a beautiful couture newborn wardrobe. Parents don’t need to worry about props or setups for their baby. I have it all covered. Clients just need to tell me two colors they would like to see used and from there I custom style their newborn session. Check out my Newborn Gallery for some posing and color ideas. For Brayden’s session, I used hats, wraps and props from Roses and Ruffles, Red Owl Photo Pros, Little Bean Creations, No. 2 Willow Lane and Pooks and Lulu.

NEWBORN MINI SESSION 

The Newborn Mini Session is a custom styled newborn session and lasts for one hour. Your session will have a minimum two set ups and include personal styling with use of my outfits and props. The packages includes custom editing of 6 images from your session, which you choose from a soft proofing gallery. You will receive a gallery ID and password to the soft proofing gallery of 30 +/- images. From there, you will then you choose the final 6 images to be hand edited.  The high resolution digital images from your gallery will be available for immediate downloading upon finalization of your gallery. Additionally, you will receive a print release for personal use.
