Hi There! Thank you for visiting Melissa Hartigan Photography – Maternity Photographer Columbia CT. Documenting your pregnancy is a wonderful way to celebrate bringing your baby into the world. Maternity photography is among my favorite sessions to photograph. When a client schedules a maternity session, I am documenting their beautiful moments as new parents-to-be. For Sarah and Ron, this is a little glimpse into their beautiful journey into parenthood.

Timeless Maternity Session – Maternity Photographer Columbia CT

Stephanie is a Lifestar Flight Nurse who got in touch with me to capture their Timeless Maternity Session while they waited for their first baby to be born. When I met Stephanie and Ron for their maternity session, I could just sense the amount of love these two have for each other and for their unborn baby. As a maternity photographer, I love capturing expecting couples who are visibly beaming with love and joyful anticipation of meeting their new baby. After all, maternity photography is what I specialize in.  They are waiting until baby is born to see if they will be having a boy or a girl, but I already can’t wait to photograph their newborn session once their baby arrives!

Maternity Photography in Connecticut

Living in Eastern Connecticut, we are pretty lucky with the beautiful scenery that envelops our state. Outdoor maternity sessions showcase the beauty of Connecticut while also providing the perfect backdrop for romantic maternity portraits. As a CT maternity photographer, I love to capture maternity photos outside and use the natural environment for beautiful backdrops. It was a joy photographing this soon to be family of three’s maternity session in the hills of Connecticut.

This gorgeous mama-to-be had the most radiant smile, and she looked absolutely stunning in these maternity gowns. The maternity dresses she wore for her maternity photos were borrowed from my extensive client wardrobe that is available to all maternity clients to use for their sessions.

The maternity client wardrobe is carefully curated with beautiful gowns to fit the couture and boutique style of maternity photography. Mamas love having a selection of dresses and gowns to choose from to use for their pregnancy photos, and I am always happy to include these as part of scheduling your maternity session with Melissa Hartigan Photography.
