I am so happy to be a part of these families’ special time and truly hope you enjoy this recent post. Here is a sneak peek into a recent Simply Swaddled Newborn Session with Little Gabriel.

Gabriel Simply Swaddled Newborn Session

Mom Melissa contacted Melissa Hartigan Photography when Gabriel was 9 days old.  I was honored that Gabriel’s parents chose me to be their newborn photographer to capture this special moment in their lives. We spoke VIA email and decided to have a Simply Swaddled Newborn Session for Gabriel. The session was schedule for 5 days later when Gabriel was 14 days old.

Simply Swaddled Newborn Session

This is a new offering from Melissa Hartigan Photography for 2018. It is a wonderful way to capture baby’s newness while staying within a budget. In a Simply Swaddled Newborn Session the baby stays wrapped for all setups. Your swaddled session will have a minimum two set ups and lasts about one hour. The session includes custom editing of 4 images which you choose from a soft proofing gallery. The high resolution digital images from your gallery will be available for immediate downloading upon finalization of your gallery, and you will receive a print release for personal use as well.

Mom choose Blue and White/Ivory.

Melissa chose the colors blue and white/ivory for Gabriel’s Simply Swaddled Newborn Session. FUN FACTS: As a family they enjoy vacationing in Martha’s Vineyard. They also enjoy hiking, exercising and being outdoors. I think it’s their love of the ocean from which mom Melissa drew inspiration for her color choices. Gabriel was a great baby to work with and easy to keep asleep while swaddled. The antique wooden crate was adorable to use as a bed and also I loved him sleeping in the bucket as well.  The varying shades of blue all looked handsome on him, and I loved using the little knit hat with ears.  Although you only get a few set-up choices with the Simply Swaddled Newborn Session, I am always able to capture some memorable and precious photos of your little one.

Melissa Hartigan Photography has an extensive prop collection and a beautiful couture newborn wardrobe for clients to choose from. Parents don’t need to worry about props or setups for their baby because I have it all covered. Clients just need to tell me two colors they would like to see used, and from there I custom style their newborn session. Check out my Newborn Gallery for some posing and color ideas.
