Hello! Thank-you for visiting Melissa Hartigan Photography and viewing my most recent blog post. For those who are new to my blog, I’m a CT Newborn Photographer with a studio in Coventry, CT. I love to capture special events in people’s lives and give them beautiful photographs they can cherish forever. I am so happy to be a part of these families’ memorable time and truly hope you enjoy this recent post. Here is a little peek into my recent Leila CT Newborn Session.

Mom Allie contacted Melissa Hartigan Photography for a Newborn Session.  I love that clients choose me to be their newborn photographer to capture this special moment in their life. Since I like to custom design every session, I like to talk or meet with my clients before their session. There we can discuss my client’s style preferences and vision for their photos.

Leila was so pretty and had creamy, perfect skin.  She made the cutest expressions when she posed. Just look at her cute pouty lips she made while sleeping on my blue blanket.  She must be having some wonderful dreams. I even captured a little half smile from her while she was wrapped up and wearing my light blue hat with the ears. For more posing ideas, check out my Pinterest Page.  I absolutely love being a CT Newborn Photographer and love that families choose me to photograph these precious time in their baby’s new life.

Mom chose Light Green, Cream and Blue.

Allie chose the colors Light Green, Cream and Blue for Leila’s Newborn Session.  Leila looked so beautiful in these soft colors.  I loved using all my different light blue headbands and wraps.  She also looked so cute in my light green knit hat and blanket.  In addition, the props I hand selected worked perfectly for her. She looked especially darling sleeping in the white, wooden bed. Additionally, I loved using some fresh flowers as I posed her in my metal bucket.

Melissa Hartigan Photography has an extensive prop collection and a beautiful couture newborn wardrobe. Parents don’t need to worry about props or setups for their baby because I have it all covered. Clients just need to tell me the colors they would like to see used and from there I custom style their newborn session. Check out my Newborn Gallery for some posing and color ideas. For Leila’s session, I used outfits, headbands, hats and props from No. 2 Willow Lane, Little Bean Creations, Roses and Ruffles,  Red Owl Photo Props and Pooks and Lulu.
