Hello! Thank-you for visiting Melissa Hartigan Photography. I am a Newborn, Maternity, Baby, Children and Family photographer with a beautiful studio in Coventry, CT. I absolutely love taking photos and capturing special events in people’s lives. Here is a little peek into my recent Newborn Session CT with the handsome Eli.

Eli Newborn Session CT

I had the honor of photographing Eli’s big brother Everett for his one year session.  Mom Ashley gave me the exciting news that they were expecting another little one and she wanted me to do the Newborn Session! I love that clients repeatably choose me to be their photographer to capture these special moments in their lives. I couldn’t wait to meet their newest addition.

He was a great sleeper.

Little Eli was amazing for his Newborn Session CT.  He slept almost the entirety of the session, although we did stop for an occasional snuggle with mom or to eat. I always schedule time into each session for moments like these. The babies are still so new and therefore can be unpredictable as far as how they will be for the sessions. Nonetheless, I want this to be a special and relaxed session for all so I make sure that our littlest one are always happy.  Eli was so cute when he was sleeping! His lips made the cutest pouty expression – just look at his little face while he was posed in the wooden bucket with the cream blanket.

Since he was so sleepy, I was able to get him in some great poses. For posing ideas, check out my Pinterest Page. I loved him sleeping in the little wooden crate and got to use many of my different buckets. Even though he slept most of the time, I captured a beautiful photo of him awake in the wooden bowl.  His eyes were so dark and handsome!

I was able to get some great sibling shots with big brother Everett. These are always a favorite of mine to capture. Everett was so happy sitting there next to his little brother and I can tell he loves him a lot. We even got beautiful family photos with the whole family, including Dad Kevin.  I absolutely love being a Newborn Photographer and love that families keep choosing me me to photograph their little loves.

Mom chose Yellow, Blue and Green.

Melissa Hartigan Photography has an extensive prop collection and a beautiful couture newborn wardrobe available for use during each session. Clients just need to tell me the colors they would like to see used and any visions or style preferences they have for the photos. I use these and custom style their newborn session to make it perfect for them.

Ashley chose the colors Yellow, Blue and Green for Eli’s Newborn Session.  I loved Eli wearing the yellow plaid hat while sleeping in my metal bucket. He was also very cute wearing the gray knit hat while sleeping on the tan blanket. In addition, the props I hand selected worked perfectly for him. He looked precious sleeping in the dark, wooden bucket while wearing the green hat. Such an adorable, little man.
