Hello! I love being a professional photographer and capturing my clients stories, emotions and freezing their moments in time, it really does bring me so much joy. I am so happy to be a part of these families special time and truly hope you enjoy this recent post. Here is a little peek into a recent newborn session with Miss Chisaki from Manchester CT.

Chisaki Newborn Session

Chisaki’s parents contacted Melissa Hartigan Photography to reserve her due date on our calendar.  Clients do this so that once baby is born they can call to schedule their newborn session.  All newborn sessions take place in my private Coventry CT studio.   The images that we captured during her newborn session are timeless treasures. She is such a beautiful baby; I know mom and dad will enjoy looking back at these images over the years!

When a new mom contacts me, if they would like we set up a time to meet in person so that we can sit down and discuss their hopes for their session.  With each and every session I custom design the setups used based on these meetings. I was so honored that I would be the CT newborn photographer to take her beautiful babies first professional images, Thank-you!

Mom requested purple and white.

I couldn’t agree more that those colors were perfect with their little baby girls skin tone, she looked so happy and content. The props I hand selected worked perfectly for her, she looked especially adorable with her sweet baby yawns in my handmade wooded bed. Throughout the session I used several headbands, little outfits and wraps.

Melissa Hartigan Photography has an extensive prop collection and a beautiful couture newborn wardrobe. Parents don’t need to worry about props or set ups for their baby. I have it all taken care of. All of my clients need to do is tell me two colors they would like to see used; from there I take care of the rest.
