Secrets secrets secrets… as a photographer so many secrets are kept. I am in many cases one of the first people to know when someone is pregnant for instance, many times before family and friends even know. I was so excited when I received a message in April from Jessica letting me she was pregnant, You wouldn’t believe the many secrets I have kept for my clients! She told me she was pregnant and she wanted to pencil her due date in on my calendar for December. I was so excited for them. We planned for an announcement session, a maternity session in the fall and of course a newborn session when the baby arrived. I love being a part of all of these sessions and capturing these amazing life moments for my clients. We did the announcement session with big brother to be Donovan, who by the way, let me tell you, was so incredibly excited to be a big brother. This sweet guy I have photographed many times, beginning when he turned one year old. We did his one year session and a fun cake smash. He has such a personality and really is so darn cute, I just love him! In the fall we captured Jessica, Matt and Donavan and baby to be in her belly. The moments captured are ones I hope they will always treasure. So many amazing moments for this family of three soon to be four. Once I learned baby Maclin was born the planning for his session began. Jessica and Maclin came to his session at 8 days old. He was amazing. I’m not sure he even made one peep during the entire session. The images we captured of him were simply timeless. So many adorable expressions, smirks and little smiles. It is such an honor for me to be one of the first to hold and capture these precious newborns just days old. Here are a few of my favorites, I hope you enjoy this little peek, Melissa
