For the newcomers to my blog, I would love to introduce myself to you. I am a wife and a mother to five children and I found my passion and niche with photography and working with newborns. I specialize in newborn photography serving all of Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts, and I have a beautiful photography studio that is located in Coventry, CT. As a professional photographer, I love to capture special events in people’s lives and give them heirloom quality photographs they can cherish of their new baby and family forever. Joanna and Kevin were referred to me as a newborn and family photographer by Kevin’s sister. A referral is the sweetest compliment that you could ever give a small business owner. I absolutely love when others refer me, because I know that my photography has touched another soul and they value my artistic work. It truly is a wonderful feeling when a client lets me know that they were referred by their family, friends and even past clients. I am always so touched and honored to be able to create beautiful art for all my referrals – so thank you!

Joanna and Kevin scheduled the Classic Newborn Session for their baby that were expecting. Expecting a baby is such a wonderful experience, and in life there aren’t too many surprises left – except one. The blessing of a baby is such a wonderful gift, but whether you are welcoming a sweet baby boy or a sweet baby girl is the only true surprise that life can give you. Joanna and Kevin wanted to enjoy one of the last surprises that life gives us and they decided they were keeping the baby’s gender a surprise for the birth. After their baby was born, I received a message from them that they had their baby and they welcomed a baby girl into their arms. It was wonderful to learn they had a baby girl.

The Beginning of a Family – Southington CT Newborn Family Photographer

Joanna and Kevin met while working at a grocery store in their teenage years and early 20s. We enjoy each other’s companionship. Since getting married in 2017, they have spent much of their newlywed time travelling to LA, San Diego, San Francisco, and Chicago.

Kevin describes Joanna as being warm hearted, conservative, and friendly. Joanna describes Kevin as being funny, goofy, and kind. These two are perfect for each other, and now that they are a new family of three the travelling adventures will be endless.

Baby Girl Newborn Pictures Pink, Cream, Purple and a Baby Holiday Photo

Hailey Nicole stole the show at her newborn session in all they set ups that I styled for her session to capture all her sweet, little baby features. Joanna wanted pretty colors to capture her baby girl with. She selected pink tones combined with creams as well as a simple holiday set up. During the session, Dad asked to incorporate some purple colors as well, so I gathered some complimentary purple tones and added them into the session styling.

Hailey Nicole looked so precious with all of the pinks, purples and soft cream colors. I always love the soft color tones in newborn photography and little miss Hailey Nicole couldn’t have looked any more darling than she already did at her session!

As a professional newborn photographer serving all of Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts, I am always buying and adding new and beautiful knitted-handmade props to my newborn and baby prop collection. Clients always have access to these props for their newborn as well as baby milestone sessions. Props are always pre-selected based off the color choices that you choose prior to your session, and set-ups are then designed around your color choices. Everything is always prepared and ready to begin once you arrive for your newborn and baby milestone sessions. I am always happy to pre-select client desired props from my prop collection to include in your session setups.
