Hello! Thank-you for visiting Melissa Hartigan Photography and viewing my most recent blog post. For those who are new to my blog, I’m a CT Newborn Photographer specializing in newborn and maternity photography. I am so happy to be a part of these families special time and truly hope you enjoy this recent post. Here is a little peek into a recent session with Miss Naiara and her sister Zavia from Haddam, CT.

Naiara Newborn Session

Naiara’s mom contacted Melissa Hartigan Photography to do a newborn session in my Coventry CT studio with Zavia, the big sister and her new precious little baby girl Naiara. I just love the names of these two sweethearts! The images that we captured during her newborn session were amazing. You could tell there is going to be a special bond between these two sisters and these two will enjoy looking back at these images over the years!

I was so excited and honored to receive this repeat call! Nairara’s mom contacted me to let me know they were having a second child and I would be the CT newborn photographer to take her first professional images. I remember vividly capturing those great moments during Zavia’s newborn session. I’m so pleased the family picked Melissa Hartigan Photography to be the professional to capture those images again, Thank-you!

Mom requested purple, pink and blue.

I couldn’t agree more that those colors were perfect to debut her next little baby girl Naiara, she looked so happy and content. The props I hand selected worked perfectly for her, she looked especially adorable with that baby smile in my antique bowl. Throughout the session I used several headbands, little outfits and wraps.

Melissa Hartigan Photography has an extensive prop collection and a beautiful couture newborn wardrobe. Parents don’t need to worry about props or set ups for their baby. I have it all covered. Clients just need to tell me two colors they would like to see used; from there I custom style their newborn session.
