Hi there! Thanks for stopping over to Melissa Hartigan Photography and viewing my most recent blog post. For those who are new to my blog, I’m a CT Newborn Photographer specializing in newborn and maternity photography. It’s been a little while since I have posted because I have been so busy photographing so many expecting mothers and newborns. Oh my goodness, there has been a serious baby boom recently!  I am so happy to be a part of these families special time and truly hope you enjoy this recent post. Here is a little peek into a recent session with Miss Lyanna from East Hartford, CT.

Lyanna Newborn Session

Prior to her newborn session’s booking, Lyanna’s mom contacted me a few months before she was due, at the time she wasn’t sure which session she wanted to choose so we reserved her due date to secure her session. There is always time to think about which session to choose, its a big decision and I want to always be sure clients choose a session that best fits them. These are memories for you and your family to look back on for a lifetime!

This beautiful little baby girl was amazing when she came to Melissa Hartigan Photography. During her session in my Coventry Connecticut studio we did family photos as well as baby alone. Its so wonderful to have that very first professional family photo to look back on and to cherish forever. As a CT newborn photographer I’m so pleased the family picked Melissa Hartigan Photography to be that professional, Thank-you!

Mom requested coral and mint, she said that she loved happy spring colors. We were able to incorporate so many gorgeous spring-like colors into Lyannas newborn session. The props I hand selected worked perfectly for her, she looked especially adorable in my antique churning bucket which I found locally at an antique shop here in Coventry. She really is such a sweet baby girl. Throughout the session I used several headbands, little outfits and wraps.

Melissa Hartigan Photography has an extensive prop collection and a beautiful couture newborn wardrobe. Parents don’t need to worry about props or set ups for their baby. I have it all covered. Clients just need to tell me two colors they would like to see used; from there I custom style their newborn session.
