Melissa Hartigan Photography | CT Newborn Photographer | Adelaide CT Mini Newborn Session | Trumbull CT
Hello! Thank-you for visiting Melissa Hartigan Photography and viewing my most recent blog post. For those who are new to my blog, I’m a CT Photographer specializing in newborn and maternity photography. I am so happy to be a part of these families special time and truly hope you enjoy this recent post. Here is a little peek into a recent CT Mini Newborn Session with Miss Adelaide from Trumbull, CT.
Adelaide CT Mini Newborn Session
Adelaide’s mom contacted Melissa Hartigan Photography to do a CT Mini Newborn Session in my Coventry CT studio with her new beautiful little baby girl. When a new mom contacts me, I ask if they would like we set up a time to meet in person so that we can sit down and discuss their hopes for their session. With each and every session I custom design the setups used based on these meetings. I was honored that her parents chose me to capture this special time especially since they drove over an hour to come to my studio for her session.
Little Adelaide was amazing the entire shoot. Since she slept the entire time, I was able to capture some beautiful photos. Just look at her adorable cheeks while she was dreaming away. I absolutely love taking photos, and put my heart into each and every photograph I take.
CT Newborn Mini Session
The CT Newborn Mini Session is a custom styled newborn session and lasts for one hour. Your mini session will have a minimum two set ups and include personal styling with use of my outfits and props. The packages includes custom editing of 6 images from your session, which you choose from a soft proofing gallery. You will receive a gallery ID and password to the soft proofing gallery of 30 +/- images then you choose the final 6 images to be hand edited. The high resolution digital images from your gallery will be available for immediate downloading upon finalization of your gallery. Additionally, you will receive a print release for personal use.
Mom let me choose colors.
Miss Adelaide’s mom let me choose the colors for her CT Mini Newborn Session. With her angelic coloring, I choose pale pinks and whites. Since it was getting close to the holidays, I also decided to do some setups in Christmas colors of reds and greens. The props I hand selected worked perfectly for her, and she looked especially adorable sleeping in my wooden bucket. Also throughout the session I used several headbands, little outfits and wraps.
Melissa Hartigan Photography has an extensive prop collection and a beautiful couture newborn wardrobe. Parents don’t need to worry about props or setups for their baby. I have it all covered. Clients just need to tell me two colors they would like to see used; from there I custom style their newborn session. Check out my Newborn Gallery for some posing and color ideas. For Adelaide’s session, I used a ruffle wrap from Mia Joy Studio and cute red and cream outfits from Pooks and Lulu.
