One week until Christmas and it sure is a rainy Sunday.  We had received about 8 inches of glorious white snow yesterday and today it is all melting away into a slushy mess.  As I am sure everyone is very busy the week before Christmas,  I am busy editing the day away to get my wonderful clients their galleries before the upcoming holidays.   If you are a return visitor or you haven’t stopped over before I thank you for visiting or for visiting again, your support means so much.  Let me take a quick second to introduce myself.  I am a professional photographer located in Coventry Connecticut. I absolutely love babies, the miracle of life is simply amazing, this time is so fleeting and special.  I specialize in Newborn, Maternity, Children and Family Photography, serving all of Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island. I have clients that come to me from all over New England, this is always such an honor for me, nothing gives me more joy than capturing these life moments for my clients. I do thank you for taking the time to read my blog and I hope will you enjoy this blog post and peek into Genevieve’s newborn session in my Coventry Connecticut studio.

Genevieve is such a beautiful newborn with a full head of gorgeous brown hair.  Her Daddy gave her a special moose which we included in one setup so they can all look back at that image one day and remember just how tiny Miss Genevieve was when she came into my studio at 8 days old.  She truly was amazing for her newborn mini session, we used several props from my ever growing collections. We used my favorite 100 year old wooden antique bucket, my two go to wooden bowls, a metal pale and of course the timeless posed newborn images. This little gal only woke once for a quick feeding and snuggle from her mama. With all sessions, I always make sure there is plenty of time set aside so that feeding and snuggling can take place. Mom had requested green and purple, we were able to incorporate so many beautiful shades of purple and some green into her newborn session.  The props that were hand selected worked perfectly for her as well as the cute outfits, hats and headbands that were chosen to use during her session. Anyone who has beens to my studio knows that I have an extensive prop collection and couture newborn wardrobe. I never would want my clients to worry about props or set ups for their brand new baby, I am completely full service.

Genevieve’s newborn session was captured in my private studio located in Coventry, Connecticut.  All newborn session are held in studio where I have access to all of my headbands, hats, blankets, buckets, bowls and many many more props and accessories.
