For the newcomers to my blog, I would love to introduce myself to you. I am a wife and a mother to five children. I found my passion and niche with photography specializing in newborn photography in throughout Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts. I have a beautiful photography studio that is located in Coventry, CT. As a professional photographer, I love to capture special events in people’s lives and give them heirloom quality photographs they can cherish of their new baby and family forever. I am so happy to be a part of these memorable moments for this family from Colchester in Hartford County, CT. Here is a little peek into Max’s newborn session.

Baby Max Classic Newborn Pics – Newborn Photography Colchester

Rebecca and Paul were welcoming their third baby into their family and not wanting to miss out on newborn pictures they connected with me in January this year to book their newborn session and make sure they had their spot reserved. They booked the Classic Newborn Session to capture their newborn moments with their baby boy. When Max arrived earth side, mom and dad were welcomed into the studio for his newborn session to capture his newborn pictures. He was fast asleep for the session and I posed him in such adorable poses that his mom and dad will love and cherish forever. I love the images that they ordered. He is such a handsome little fella.

Getting to know Rebecca and Paul, I learned mom is an APRN. She loves musicals, hiking and exploring different cities like NYC, Boston, Philadelphia and trying different foods. Dad works at a brewery and loves helping to brew and can. He enjoys different food, old school video games like Super Mario and he is a huge sports fan loving the Celtics, Knicks, Giants and the Yankees. They have a fur baby, their Corgi, and now their new baby boy Max to love and raise together.

Baby Boy Newborn Blue & Cream Colors – Newborn Photography Colchester CT

For Max’s newborn session colors, mom wanted to keep with blue and cream colors for the newborn session setups. All the shades and different tones of blues paired together with the creams looked amazing together. Added a couple setups with sage green for a classic newborn session color twist. They were perfect for a new baby boy!

The Newborn Session Experience with Melissa Hartigan Photography

As a studio newborn photographer in Connecticut, I love offering clients a multitude of color choices for their newborn sessions. Having the option to choose the colors and tones that go best with baby’s nursery, what colors work in your home, and which colors you love best is a just one piece of the whole newborn photoshoot process that new parents absolutely love to be a part of; and I am happy to offer that to my clients as part of their custom newborn photography session with MHP.

When you book a session with Melissa Hartigan Photography, I give you MY ALL, before, during and long after your session has come and gone. I am NOT the photographer that starts a stop watch at the beginning of your session. I am NOT the photographer that will ever rush. I am NOT the photographer that will give up when I know how important a certain capture is to a client.

I AM the photographer that wants to capture your newborn, child, senior teenager or family as they are the day of your session. I love my job.
