I’m a professional newborn photographer with a beautiful studio in Coventry, CT dedicated to newborn photography, maternity photography and baby milestone photography. Not only do I absolutely love taking photos but I also adore being a part of these special moments in my client’s lives, like this darling family from Amston in Tolland County, CT. Tolland County Newborn Photographer – Conor Cherished Newborn

Marianne and Matt welcomed their baby boy Conor and brought him into the studio along with his three older siblings Braeden, Kelly and Meghan for his Cherished Newborn Session and capture their family together. Just as I had captured newborn and Fresh48 Sessions for each of their other three babies, maternity, sitter and one-year milestones, as well as holiday mini and Santa sessions, I was so honored to be photographing another session for them. We have had many, many sessions together over the years and I’m always so honored to document more memories for them. They are a very active family, always on the go with 3 busy kids and now baby Conor – very busy family, but a very, very loving one.

Knowing that I tend to book up rather quickly, mom wanted to reserve her due date well in advance and booked Conor’s newborn photoshoot in the spring of 2024, so when he was finally earth side, all they had to do was bring him into the studio. I really do recommend booking in advance of baby’s birth. Last minute openings usually only occur if a booked client has gone past her due date. It is never to early to invest in your baby’s newborn moments and your family’s portrait heirloom memories.

Baby Boy Newborn Photo Blue and Cream Colors – Tolland County Newborn Photography

Mom and dad chose a simple color palate of light blues with cream colors for Conor’s newborn session colors and setups. It’s no surprise that I adore this color combination because of its simplicity and the softness paired together for a baby boy fresh into the world. Baby Conor was so good for his newborn session, I posed him in so many adorable poses and captured the sweetest little smirk from him. I love the images that mom and dad selected to cherish of baby Conor forever.

The Newborn Session Experience with Melissa Hartigan Photography

As a boutique newborn photographer in CT, I love offering clients a multitude of color choices for their newborn sessions. Having the option to choose the colors and tones that go best with baby’s nursery, what colors work in your home, and which colors you love best is a just one piece of the whole newborn photoshoot process that new parents absolutely love to be a part of; and I am happy to offer that to my clients as part of their custom newborn photography session with MHP.
