Waylon Treasured Newborn Pics – CT Newborn Photography

In the fall of 2020, Jenna and Jacob welcomed their first baby, a precious baby boy named Waylon. Having been referred to Melissa Hartigan Photography by their friend, who is also a beloved client of mine, they wanted to book their newborn session well in advance of his due date and chose the Treasured Newborn Session to capture their newborn moments. Client word of mouth referrals are the absolute best compliment that an artist could ever ask for and I’m always so touched when my small business is referred.

Waylon was so sweet and so precious and was so sleepy during his newborn session. He slept nearly the entire time and barely made a peep the entire session. I love that I was able to pose him so perfectly and capture all the adorable posed newborn photography poses for his mom and dad. When Mom and Dad received their proofing gallery, they added an additional image onto their Treasured Newborn Session.

I always love when parents chat and we get to know each other before, during and after our session as long come and gone. Jenna shared with me that they are animal lovers; they have two Australian shepherds and have recently started raising chickens. They like to go hiking and fishing in the summer, and during the winter they love to go snowboarding in Colorado. Jacob loves making pottery in our basement and I enjoy reading a good book. We both enjoy watching The Office or anything Disney related.

Baby Boy Blue and Cream Newborn Photos – CT Newborn Photography

I love all blue and cream color combinations that Jenna chose for Waylon’s newborn session setups. The blues and creams really are the perfect color combinations for a precious baby boy. Mom requested the teddy bear set up, and I love when newborn babies hold their first tiny teddy bear; it’s so cute and Waylon is no exception with his handsome little face.

CT Studio Newborn Photography

Melissa Hartigan Photography has a beautifully curated newborn wardrobe to style and dress each newborn baby with. As a newborn photographer in Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts, I am always buying and adding new and beautiful knitted-handmade props to my newborn and baby prop collection. Clients always have access to these props for their newborn and baby milestone sessions. Props are always pre-selected based off the color choices that you choose prior to your session, and set-ups are then designed around your color choices. Everything is always prepared and ready to begin once you arrive for your newborn and baby milestone sessions.
