As a Connecticut Baby Photographer, I have the pleasure of meeting families with new babies every day. Not only do I love being a newborn photographer, but I also love photographing babies of all ages and capturing all the baby milestones from pushing up, sitting up, standing up through to their first birthday. As quick as the newborn stage passes so do all the different stages of the baby milestones, and it’s so important not to miss capturing those major milestones and details either. Here is a peek into Carter’s milestone session.

Tolland County Baby Photography – Carter’s Cake Smash

Two dads, Cristopher and Christopher, came back to the studio to capture Carter’s cake smash session with the All-Inclusive Milestone Session. I’ve been photographing Carter since he was a days old newborn baby fresh into the world. We’ve captured his newborn pictures, 6-month sitting up session and now his one-year cake smash session. As a professional baker at Dough Rollers Bakery, Dad made Carter’s Cake Smash cake.

When the dads both brought Carter back into my studio to capture his sitting up milestone, I was met with a happy smiley baby boy who was full of so many adorable expressions. I’m sure he was excited to be digging into his smash cake that his dad made special for him to celebrate his one-year milestone.

Connecticut Baby Milestone Photography

As a baby milestone photographer located in Connecticut, I am always adding beautiful new knitted and handmade props to my studio baby prop collection.  Melissa Hartigan Photography clients always have access to these props for their newborn sessions as well as baby milestone sessions. You don’t need to worry about bringing anything for your session except yourselves and your happy baby ready to have their picture taken. Props are always pre-selected based off the color choices that you choose prior to your session. Custom set-ups are then designed around your color choices. Everything is always prepared and ready to begin once you arrive for your baby milestone session.
