Expecting a baby is such an exciting time in your life, and documenting your pregnancy is a wonderful way to celebrate bringing your baby into the world while waiting for your baby to arrive. Maternity photography is among my favorite sessions to photograph for the beautifulness of a blooming pregnancy. When a client schedules a maternity and newborn session with MHP, I am documenting their beautiful moments as new parents-to-be. For this sweet mama Jenee and dad-to-be Lorenzo, this is a little glimpse into their beautiful journey into parenthood.

Timeless Maternity Photography in Studio – Maternity Photography CT

In their anticipation of expecting their second baby, Romy and Daniel scheduled a maternity session to capture their pregnancy moments while awaiting their baby girl. Having been referred to Melissa Hartigan Photography from a past beloved client, they booked the Timeless Maternity Session as well as the Treasured Newborn Session to capture their first moments as a family of four after baby girl arrives earth side. The Timeless Maternity Session is a wonderful session choice for parents looking to capture this special time in their life before their family grows just a little bit bigger. Romy and Daniel added on additional images after seeing their maternity gallery.

Romy is a beautiful mama-to-be who has such a warm, pretty smile and long beautiful hair. She looked absolutely stunning in the maternity gowns she selected to wear for their maternity session.  Both the black lace dress and the long white flowy dress with long sleeves were borrowed from my extensive maternity client wardrobe that is available to all maternity clients to use for their sessions. The maternity client wardrobe is carefully curated with beautiful gowns from Sew Trendy Accessories to fit the couture and boutique style of pregnancy photography. Expectant mamas love having a selection of dresses and gowns to choose from to use for their maternity photos, and I am always happy to include these as part of scheduling your maternity session with Melissa Hartigan Photography.

Even though big brother-to-be Dominic was not at the maternity session, he is very excited to have a sibling to love on and grow up with. As a family, they like to travel and most of the time they can be found relaxing and playing on the beach. Daniel loves to play soccer and video games, Dominic likes to play video games as well, he loves the beach, looking out for and watching dolphins as well as swimming.

Connecticut Maternity Newborn Photography

As a Maternity and Newborn Photographer, every day I get the pleasure of meeting expectant couples and families that will soon will be welcoming their new baby. Not only do I love being a maternity and newborn photographer, but I also love photographing babies of all ages and capturing all the baby milestones.  As quick as the pregnancy and newborn stages pass, so does a baby’s first year and all the different stages.
