Melissa was a pleasure to work with. She was super responsive to my emails and scheduled us for a time that was convenient with our work schedules. I dreamt of having a picture of my toddler kissing his little brother (via my belly). When we brought our toddler in he was at the height of his terrible two phase and this had us frazzled, but Melissa was as cool as a cucumber. She was so patient and managed to get me to relax and voila we got the exact shot I wanted.
She had gorgeous gowns to pick from and found two that complemented my personality and skin tone. (I've had so many people ask me where I found my maternity gowns.)
We got our sneak peak photos so quickly it surprised me. I was also blown away by the final products.
I HIGHLY recommend Melissa to anyone considering maternity and newborn photos. She is so professional and passionate about her craft. There is no way you will walk away unsatisfied.

We did both a maternity photo shoot and a newborn photo shoot with Melissa, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome! She makes everything so easy - she has dresses and beautiful locations for the maternity shoot, and all the props for the newborn shoot. She does beautiful work, and is so sweet! I was late booking everything (pregnant with baby #2 makes things harder to set up) and Melissa worked with us on short notice so that we were able to have our photos taken. And when my toddler wasn't cooperating, she was kind and patient. I can't say enough good things about Melissa and her work. I'm SO very happy that we went with her to document these important times in our lives.

Melissa is an amazing photographer and we love our pictures. Her studio is very professional - she makes it extremely cozy for both parents and baby with music, lavender scent, and even a kitchen with refreshments. I even got to catch up on some sleep and my husband got work done while Melissa did her thing. **Scheduling Update**Still going through emails and session submittals but I thought I would post a scheduling update. I received a lot of inquires for babies being born in 2025 as well as milestones coming up, well as if this morning I scheduled 15 due dates. 7 maternity sessions and 9 milestone sessions.
I truly love what I do and love meeting every new life that is brought into my studio just days old. Thank you to those who keep choosing me and for those who are constantly referring me, I appreciate you.
With all of the above said and if you are still reading... MHP is currently booking into January 2026.
