For those visiting for the first time, welcome. I’m a CT Maternity Newborn Photographer with a professional photography studio located in Coventry, CT. I specialize in maternity, newborn, baby milestone, children and family photography. Expecting a baby is such an exciting time in your life, and documenting your pregnancy and newborn moments is such a wonderful way to celebrate bringing your baby into the world. Maternity and Newborn photography is among my favorite of sessions to photograph. I love to capture special events in people’s lives and give them heirloom quality images they can cherish forever of their pregnancy, new baby and as a family. When a client schedules their maternity and newborn sessions with MHP, I am documenting their beautiful moments as new parents and I am so happy to be a part of these memorable maternity and newborn moments for this sweet family from Durham, CT located in Middlesex County. Studio Maternity & Newborn – CT Maternity Newborn Photography
Natasha and Nathan were growing their family by two more feet and one more heart and wanted to capture their maternity moments while they awaited the arrival of their second bundle of joy. Booking both their maternity and newborn sessions at the same time.
Getting to know my clients, before baby arrives is one of my favorite things. During your maternity session, we chat, we have fun and capture your pregnancy moments while awaiting the arrival of your baby earth side. By the time your baby is here and we’re capturing your newborn images, we’ve already become like friends and have gotten to know each other a little bit. Mama shared with me a bit about themselves.
“We are a fairly active and busy family. I’m from New Jersey and desperately miss the Jersey beaches. My husband grew up outside Lake George, and we love visiting there. Lake George is where he proposed after a long day of hiking. We have a mini dachshund, Zoey, who is our family fur baby and tolerates our toddler Jackson pretty well.
All of Nathan’s favorite things involve a good amount of risk of bodily harm: skiing, white water kayaking, and mountain biking. He has a little seat on his bike for Jackson to ride with him when he rides for leisure rather than for adventure, and Jackson loves the bike and already loves “going fast!”
Jack is a little shy and timid around other until he gets used to you, but once he does he is friendly and has a great sense of humor. He loves bikes, trucks, elephants, puppies, and believe it or not, but he has a fascination with our Dyson vacuum.
Whenever I can, I enjoy going to the gym for Barre, Pilates or Spin group classes. I love going to the beach, out for coffee at cute independent shops, and spending time outside in the fall. I love animals and reading a good book. I am terrified of heights but managed to go sky diving in Australia. I am also scared of the deep sea, but couldn’t overcome that and my nerves got the best of me and I backed out of scuba diving the Great Barrier Reef.”
Maternity Photography Connecticut
As a Maternity Photographer in CT, I get the pleasure everyday of meeting expectant mamas, couples and families that will soon will be welcoming their new baby into their family. For Natasha and Nathan’s Timeless Maternity Session in studio, mama selected a long form fitted eggplant purple maternity gown to accentuate her beautiful baby bump and capture the moments where their baby girl was still warm and cozy inside her womb. Natasha couldn’t have looked more stunning in the purple maternity dress she wore for her pregnancy photoshoot.
Newborn Photography Connecticut
When baby Mackenzie finally made her entrance into the world, mama, dad were welcomed back into the studio for their newborn session – bringing Big brother Jackson and their newest addition making them a new family of four. Mom had asked for pinks and cream colours for baby Mackenzie’s newborn session designs and setups, and pink and cream is what we did. Mackenzie looked amazing in the shades of pink selected for her. She’s so pretty. For the family poses, mom wore the exact same maternity gown as she wore during their maternity session for a pose with her baby girl – it was a precious capture for mama to remember of her pregnancy and when her baby was in her arms.

I AM the photographer that wants to capture your newborn, child, senior teenager or family as they are the day of your session. I love my job. When you are looking to book your newborn session, it is recommended to secure your newborn session preferably before baby arrives to ensure an opening for when your little one does make their appearance. Ideally, it is best to book when you are in your second trimester. When you book your newborn session, you may also consider adding on a maternity session to your newborn booking and we can capture beautiful serene maternity pictures to remember your pregnancy by.
