As a Maternity Photographer in Connecticut, documenting your pregnancy is a wonderful way to celebrate bringing your baby into the world. Maternity photography is among my favorite sessions to photograph. When a client schedules a maternity session, I am documenting their beautiful moments as new parents-to-be. Springtime Maternity Pics – Maternity Photography Middlesex County
Earlier this Spring, Taryn and Chris were referred to Melissa Hartigan Photography by Taryn’s sister to photograph and capture their pregnancy memories during Taryn’s pregnancy with their baby boy, as well as to capture his newborn photos when he arrives earth side. Having captured Taryn’s sister’s daughters, I was delighted to meet Taryn and Chris and begin capturing all their beautiful family memories. We captured their maternity session outside in a beautiful greenspace adorned with lush trees and beautiful backdrops. Taryn and Chris are the sweetest couple and I adored capturing these special moments for them.

Maternity clients are always welcome to borrow dresses from the studio wardrobe during their maternity sessions whether captured in studio or outside in a beautiful park, like we captured with Taryn and Chris’s maternity session. As a professional portrait photographer that specializes in capturing the beautiful pregnant form, I always recommend a day of pampering for my mom’s-to-be before their maternity session. From manicures and pedicures, to a day at the salon with a hair stylist and makeup artist, it can really bring out the very essence of how an expectant mother-to-be feels about herself. When a mama feels her absolute best, it shines through during the maternity session and into the finished maternity portrait.
