For those who are visiting for the first time, I’m a Connecticut Newborn Photographer with a professional photography studio located in Coventry, CT. I specialize in maternity, newborn, baby milestone, children, senior and family photography. I love to capture special events in people’s lives and give them heirloom quality photographs they can cherish forever of their new baby and as a family. Saoirse Newborn Session – Newborn Baby Photography CT

Booking a newborn session is such an exciting time when you’re expecting a baby. It means everything to make and capture memories with your precious baby as you begin your journey into parenthood. I adore capturing all the beloved newborn poses for new parents, but I also love capturing those first family pictures after clients have welcomed their precious baby. This sweet new family didn’t want to pass up the opportunity to include family photos with their baby girl so mom and dad selected the newborn session that fit all of their needs. I’m so happy, and honored, that I captured these precious newborn and family pictures for Saoirse’s mom and dad to cherish forever.

Baby Girl Newborn Pictures Pink, Cream, White – Newborn Baby Photography CT

Saoirse’s mom chose a color palate of soft pink, cream and white for her baby girl’s newborn session. This is just one of my favorite color combinations for baby girls because of the delicate and soft nature of the colors combined together. Add in the pretty feminine bow and floral elements and the set ups are classically and beautifully designed for a baby girl. Saoirse looked so peaceful sleeping away in the soft baby pinks with her sweet cheeks.

Newborn Session Experience with Melissa Hartigan Photography

As a boutique newborn photographer in CT, I love offering clients a multitude of color choices for their newborn sessions. Having the option to choose the colors and tones that go best with baby’s nursery, what colors work in your home, and which colors you love best is a just one piece of the whole newborn photoshoot process that new parents absolutely love to be a part of; and I am happy to offer that to my clients as part of their custom newborn photography session with MHP.

Melissa Hartigan Photography has a beautifully curated newborn prop collection and wardrobe to style each session and dress each newborn baby with. If you’re looking for some newborn props or color ideas for your upcoming newborn or baby milestone sessions with me, please check out my Newborn Gallery. For Saoirse’s newborn session done in my Coventry, CT photography studio, I used outfits, hats, backdrops and props from some of my favorite newborn prop vendors: No. 2 Willow Lane, Little Bean Creations, Roses and Ruffles, Red Owl Photo Props and Pooks and Lulu.

It is recommended to secure your newborn session preferably before baby arrives to ensure an opening for when your little one does make their appearance. Ideally, it is best to book when you are in your second trimester. When you book your newborn session, you may also consider adding on a Fresh48 Hospital Session to capture those first tender moments after the birth of your baby, or a maternity session to capture beautiful serene maternity pictures to remember your pregnancy by, or pre-book your baby’s milestone sessions throughout their first year.

Best Connecticut Newborn Baby Photography

When you book a session with Melissa Hartigan Photography, I give you MY ALL, before, during and long after your session has come and gone. I’m dedicated to you; giving you the best. I am NOT the photographer that starts a stop watch at the beginning of your session, I am NOT the photographer that will ever rush, I am NOT the photographer that will give up when I know how important a certain capture is to a client.

I AM the photographer that wants to capture your newborn, child, senior teenager or family as they are the day of your session. I love my job. Capturing moments and freezing memories in time to cherish always. It truly makes my heart full and so happy. I hope that when anyone looks at a capture I have taken and they see and know this.
