As a Maternity Photographer in Connecticut, documenting your pregnancy is a wonderful way to celebrate bringing your baby into the world. Maternity photography is among my favorite sessions to photograph. When a client schedules a maternity session, I am documenting their beautiful moments as new parents-to-be. For Hannah and Jordan, this is a little glimpse into their beautiful journey into parenthood as first-time parents.

Hannah and Jordan are one of the many, and sweetest of couples that I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and photographing since I’ve specialized in documenting and capturing pregnancy photography. As a sweet gesture from Jordan’s parents, the grandparents-to-be, they were sweetly gifted the Timeless Maternity Session to capture their pregnancy moments while they awaited the arrival of their baby boy due to arrive earth side in the middle of spring.
Meeting Hannah and Jordan for their maternity session was like meeting old friends. We had fun at their session from chatting about what we would capture, to their pregnancy and expecting their baby boy, to general conversation, there were so many giggles and laughs throughout the entire session. We had so much fun and I’m so honored to have captured their pregnancy for them to remember this fleeting time before meeting their newborn son.

Hannah selected a gown to wear for her pregnancy pictures from the MHP wardrobe. Maternity clients are always welcome to borrow dresses from the studio wardrobe during their maternity sessions whether captured in studio or outside in a beautiful park. As a professional portrait photographer that specializes in capturing the beautiful pregnant form, I always recommend a day of pampering for my mom’s-to-be before their maternity session. From manicures and pedicures, to a day at the salon with a hair stylist and makeup artist, it can really bring out the very essence of how an expectant mother-to-be feels about herself. When a mama feels her absolute best, it shines through during the maternity session and into the finished maternity portrait.
