For the newcomers to my blog, I would love to introduce myself to you. I am a wife and a mother to five children. I found my passion and niche with photography specializing in newborn photography in throughout Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts. I have a beautiful photography studio that is located in Coventry, CT.  As a professional photographer, I love to capture special events in people’s lives and give them heirloom quality photographs they can cherish of their new baby and family forever. I am so happy to be a part of these memorable moments for this family from Farmington in Hartford County, CT.  Here is a little peek into Elisa’s newborn session.

Pretty Elisa Classic Newborn – Newborn Photography Farmington CT

Ornela and Ervis were welcoming their second baby into their family and not wanting to miss out on newborn pictures they connected with me in May last year to reserve their baby’s due date. They booked the Classic Newborn Session to capture their newborn moments with their baby girl. When Elisa arrived earth side, they were welcomed into the studio alongside big brother Victor, whom I also photographed as a newborn baby.

Getting to know them as a new family of four, I learned they love to travel as a family and love learning about other cultures and different languages. Victor loves everything about cars, from parts to car racing, it’s everything about cars all of the time. He is a typical little boy through and through who is excited to be a big brother. Now, with Elisa joined into their family they can nestle in at home and enjoy all the baby love.

Baby Girl Newborn Pink & Cream Colors – Newborn Photographer Farmington CT

For Elisa’s newborn session colors, mom wanted to keep with pink, mauve and cream colors for the newborn session setups. All the shades and different tones of light pinks and mauves paired together with the creams looked amazing together. They were perfect for a new baby girl. She was a very happy, smiley girl who even woke up and was wide eyed for a little bit of her session. I loved capturing an awake image, that newborn baby eye contact is something so sweet. Amongst her sleepy, dreamy smiles. Elisa was perfect!

When mom was pregnant with Victor we captured her maternity pictures, and after Elisa was out of the womb we captured a similar image with mom wearing a long form fitting white maternity gown with baby Elisa outside of the womb. It was the perfect capture and a very stunning collage of moments from mom’s pregnancy and poses as a new mom into motherhood.

The Newborn Session Experience with Melissa Hartigan Photography

As a studio newborn photographer in Connecticut, I love offering clients a multitude of color choices for their newborn sessions.
