I absolutely love taking photos of expectant couples, babies and families. Baby Photography isn’t just photographing newborns; it’s also capturing babies of all ages and capturing all the special baby milestones throughout their first year after birth. Here is a little peek into Palmer’s All-Inclusive One Year Baby Milestone session. This is her baby story.

Palmer One Year Session – Baby Photography Bloomfield CT

Sweet little Palmer came to my studio for her All-Inclusive Milestone Session to celebrate her one-year milestone that her mama and dad, Pamela and Jason, booked for her special photoshoot. Having photographed this sweet family when Palmer was six months old, she warmed up to me pretty quickly and we capture such precious images of her celebrating her first-year milestone. I love capturing baby milestone sessions because I get to capture baby memories for parents first time and seasoned parents and cherish these fleeting moments of baby’s first year. Palmer loves her mama, dad and her cat, she loves to read and she is such a happy little girl. Pamela and Jason are so lucky to have such a beautifully sweet, fun baby girl to make them parents and make them a family of three.

As a Maternity and Baby Photographer, I get the pleasure of meeting new families with new babies every day. Not only do I love being a newborn photographer, but I also love photographing babies of all ages and capturing all those special baby milestones from pushing up, sitting up, standing up, their first birthday milestone and all the baby details like first baby teeth and the adorable toothy grins. As quick as the newborn stage passes, so does a baby’s first year and all the different stages of the baby milestones. It’s so important not to miss capturing those major milestones and details either.

My goal is to give my clients beautiful photographs they can cherish forever, and an experience to remember why they chose custom photography with an experienced and professionally trained newborn photographer to capture their newborns photo memories. When it comes to studio outfits and setups, I am always adding beautiful new knitted and handmade props to my studio baby and child prop collection.  Melissa Hartigan Photography clients always have access to these props for their newborn sessions as well as baby milestone sessions. You don’t need to worry about bringing anything for your session except yourselves and your happy baby ready to have their picture taken. Props are always pre-selected based off the color choices that you choose prior to your session. Custom set-ups are then designed around your color choices. Everything is always prepared and ready to begin once you arrive for your baby milestone session. For Palmer’s one year milestone session, mom and dad asked for shades of pink and cream colors and all outfits were from the MHP tiny client closet.
