For the newcomers to my blog, I would love to introduce myself to you. I am a wife and a mother to five children. I found my passion and niche with photography specializing in newborn photography in throughout Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts. I have a beautiful photography studio that is located in Coventry, Connecticut. As a professional photographer, I love to capture special events in people’s lives and give them heirloom quality photographs they can cherish of their new baby and family forever. Owen’s Cherished Newborn Photos – Massachusetts Newborn Photography

Chelsea and Casey were so excited to be welcoming their first baby together, a sweet baby boy named Owen. After finding me on Google, Mom contacted me early on in her pregnancy to reserve her maternity and newborn sessions. We captured their beautiful maternity session outdoors and she booked the Cherished Newborn Session to capture Owen’s newborn photos.

Capturing tender newborn moments for new parents always tugs at my heart strings because with every birth of a baby is the birth of a new family. Owen was such a good baby for his newborn session and I adored being his newborn photographer. Chelsea and Casey and live a laid back and relaxed life living on a lake. They spend all of their time outside with family and friends in the summer. Living a mellow life is easy for them. They love to hang out together and order take-out food and find a movie to watch together, and there is no-where else they’d rather be than being with each other and spending time together.

Baby Boy Blue Gray Soft Neutral Colors Newborn Pictures – MA Newborn Photography

For Owen’s newborn session colors, his mom wanted to keep with blue, gray and soft neutrals to show off her handsome baby boy. Keeping with blue colors and tones, and tan and brown colors and tones, all the setups really coordinated well with each other. One of my favorites from his session is him all snuggled up with the newborn teddy. He is just so perfect and precious!

The Newborn Photography Experience with Melissa Hartigan

As a studio newborn photographer in Connecticut, I love offering clients a multitude of color choices for their newborn sessions. Having the option to choose the colors and tones that go best with baby’s nursery, what colors work in your home, and which colors you love best is a just one piece of the whole newborn photoshoot process that new parents absolutely love to be a part of; and I am happy to offer that to my clients as part of their custom newborn photography session with MHP.

When you book a session with Melissa Hartigan Photography, I give you MY ALL, before, during and long after your session has come and gone. I am NOT the photographer that starts a stop watch at the beginning of your session. I am NOT the photographer that will ever rush. I am NOT the photographer that will give up when I know how important a certain capture is to a client.

I AM the photographer that wants to capture your newborn, child, senior teenager or family as they are the day of your session. I love my job. Capturing moments and freezing memories in time to cherish always. It truly makes my heart full and so happy. I hope when anyone looks at an image I have taken they see and know this.
