Maternity Pictures for Soon-to-be Family of Four – CT Maternity Photographer

Hi There! Thank you for visiting Melissa Hartigan Photography – CT Maternity Photographer. Expecting a baby is such an exciting time in your life, and documenting your pregnancy is a wonderful way to celebrate bringing your baby into the world. Maternity photography is among my favorite sessions to photograph. When a client schedules a maternity session with MHP, I am documenting their beautiful moments as new parents-to-be. For Sunitha and Prasanth, this is a little glimpse into their beautiful journey into parenthood for the second time.

Maternity Pictures for Soon-to-be Family of Four – CT Maternity Photographer

Prasanth, a dad-to-be for the second time, got in touch with me to book his and his wife’s maternity session as well as their Fresh 48 Session in hospital, their Treasured Newborn Session in studio  when their second baby was born and to capture all those first newborn moments with their second baby.

Before their maternity session, mom-to-be Sunitha, came to my studio so she could try on gowns that are available to borrow from my client maternity wardrobe collection. I have a beautiful collection of boutique maternity gowns in a variety of colors and styles for expectant moms to wear during their session that they are welcome to come try on ahead of their maternity session. Sunitha selected two long, form fitting maternity gowns in bright, vibrant and jewel toned colors to capture her pregnancy and celebrate her second baby with. I love the pop of colors with maternity photography!

After we had to reschedule their maternity session – not once, but twice – due to the weather, we crossed our fingers and hoped that scheduling their maternity session for another day would bring us “third times a charm” luck. As it would have it, the day of their maternity session was absolutely gorgeous – from the weather and the beautiful light, to the maternity dresses Sumitha chose, and their adorable Son Arjun who was so excited to be a big brother and loved being a part of the session and being in the photos, it was amazing!

Connecticut Maternity Photographer with Maternity Dresses

Maternity clients of Melissa Hartigan Photography are always welcome to use the studio wardrobe during their maternity sessions. I have a carefully curated wardrobe of beautiful maternity gowns to fit the couture and boutique style of maternity photography. Maternity clients have always appreciated having a selection of dresses and gowns to choose from for use during their sessions and I’m always happy to offer these gowns to my clients. Choosing a maternity gown from my collection leaves my clients with one less expense to worry about for their session, and I’m always happy to offer these gowns to my clients.

Double the tiny toes, double the sleepy snuggles, and double the love. 💙💙

It was such an honor to welcome twin brothers Benjamin Richard, and Joseph William into my studio for their newborn session. These precious little boys already share an incredible bond, one that will grow stronger with every milestone they experience together. They were amazing and I`m not sure either made a peep.

Photographing newborns is always so special, but capturing twins is a beautiful reminder that some of life’s greatest blessings come in pairs. Every tiny yawn, little stretch, and peaceful cuddle is a memory their family will cherish forever.

Mom and Dad - Thank you for trusting me to preserve these first precious days. Wishing Benny and JoJo a lifetime filled with laughter, adventure, and the unbreakable friendship that only brothers can share. 💙
