Hi There! Thank you for visiting Melissa Hartigan Photography – Maternity Photographer CT. Expecting a baby is such an exciting time in your life, and documenting your pregnancy is a wonderful way to celebrate bringing your baby into the world while waiting for your baby to arrive. Maternity photography is among my favorite sessions to photograph. When a client schedules a maternity and newborn session with MHP, I am documenting their beautiful moments as new parents-to-be. For Marianne and Matt, this is a glimpse into their beautiful journey waiting for their third baby to arrive earth side.
Marianne’s Heirloom Maternity Pics – Amston CT Maternity Photography
Marianne and Matt were expecting their third baby together and booked the Heirloom Maternity Session to document their family moments while awaiting the arrival of their newest baby blessing. Over the past four years Marianne and Matt have come to Melissa Hartigan Photography for all their family’s most important and fleeting moments to be documented and captured. Having photographed Maternity, Newborn, Sitter and One-Year Sessions for both big brother Braeden, and big sister Kelly, they didn’t hesitate in booking a maternity session to document this precious and fleeting moment in their life before becoming a family of five. The Heirloom Maternity Session is the perfect session option to capture maternity portraits including baby’s siblings while also capturing the entire family together. Babies gender is a surprise and they can’t wait to welcome their little one – and I can’t wait to meet him/her and capture baby’s newborn photos, just as I had with big brother and big sisters.
Family Style Beautiful Outside Maternity Pictures
It was a beautiful night for Marianne and Matt’s outside maternity session. The weather was perfect and the entire session went off without a hitch, it was a night to remember. I captured so many beautiful images of mama looking so pretty the maternity dresses she borrowed from the maternity client closet, mom and dad together as a couple, mama with her little boy and them all together. Their little baby bundle is surrounded by so much love already!

Browsing the boutique collection of maternity dresses and gowns in the studio closet, Marianne selected three beautiful form fitting gowns to wear and they were absolutely stunning on her! The studio closet is filled with maternity dresses and gowns from Sew Trendy Accessories which specializes in boutique and couture style maternity gowns unique to pregnancy styled photography. They are available to all maternity clients to borrow from during their session, and mamas love and appreciate having so many options to choose from. The studio closet is filled with a variety of maternity dresses and gowns from form fitting to delicate and flowing.
As a Connecticut Maternity Photographer, I get the pleasure everyday of meeting expectant mamas, couples and families that will soon will be welcoming their new baby. Not only do I love being a maternity and newborn photographer, but I also love photographing babies of all ages and capturing all the baby milestones. As quick as the pregnancy and newborn stages pass, so does a baby’s first year and all the different stages. It is so important to document these pregnancy memories with professional pictures before these maternity moments are over and gone forever.
I hope you enjoyed this little peek into Marianne and Matt’s Family Style Heirloom Maternity Session.
