Expecting a baby is such an exciting time in your life, and documenting your pregnancy is a wonderful way to celebrate bringing your baby into the world while waiting for your baby to arrive. Maternity photography is among my favorite sessions to photograph for the beautifulness of a blooming pregnancy. When a client schedules a maternity and newborn session with MHP, I am documenting their beautiful moments as new parents-to-be. For this sweet mama and dad-to-be from Windsor CT, this is a little glimpse into their beautiful journey into parenthood.

Maggie Timeless Maternity Photography – Maternity Photography Hartford County

Maggie and Stephen contacted me to schedule a maternity session and capture their precious pregnancy moments while they awaited the arrival of their first baby bundle. They selected and booked the Timeless Maternity Session which is a wonderful session choice for parents looking to capture this special time in their life before their family grows just a tiny bit bigger. After seeing their gallery, Maggie and Stephen decided to add on additional images to treasure and remember their pregnancy when they were expecting their first baby.

Capturing their maternity session during the month of December, they opted to capture their images in studio where they could keep warm and keep to a portraiture style of maternity photography rather than candid and lifestyle-like so often captured outdoors. Maggie is a gorgeous mama-to-be with the sweetest of smiles and looked absolutely stunning in the eggplant purple maternity gown she wore. Motherhood looks amazing on her. Stephen showed not only his love for the mother of his child but also for the little baby bundle that he was about to meet. Captured together was their love for one another, the journey they are about to embark on and the little love they will soon welcome. Their maternity session was captured perfectly!

Connecticut Maternity Photography

The maternity dress Maggie wore is a gown that was borrowed from my extensive maternity client wardrobe closet that is available to all maternity clients to use for their sessions. The maternity client wardrobe is carefully curated with beautiful gowns from Sew Trendy Accessories to fit the couture and boutique style of maternity photography. Mama’s love having a selection of dresses and gowns to choose from to use for their pregnancy photos, and I am always happy to include these as part of booking your maternity session with Melissa Hartigan Photography.

As a Maternity and Newborn Photographer, every day I get the pleasure of meeting expectant couples and families that will soon will be welcoming their new baby. Not only do I love being a maternity and newborn photographer, but I also love photographing babies of all ages and capturing all the baby milestones.  As quick as the pregnancy and newborn stages pass, so does a baby’s first year and all the different stages.
