Expecting a baby is such an exciting time in your life, and documenting your pregnancy is a wonderful way to celebrate bringing your baby into the world while waiting for your baby to arrive. Maternity photography is among my favorite sessions to photograph for the beautifulness of a blooming pregnancy. When a client schedules a maternity and newborn session with MHP, I am documenting their beautiful moments as new parents-to-be. For this sweet mama, this is a little glimpse into her beautiful journey into parenthood.

Madison Studio Maternity Photos – Maternity Photography CT

Mama-to-be Madison wanted to capture her pregnancy with studio maternity portrait and keep the focus on her baby bump. Booking the Timeless Maternity Session was the perfect choice for this mama to remember her pregnancy with her first baby by. In wanting to keep the styling of the session timeless and classic while featuring her pregnancy, we did a few simple set-ups based on Madison’s vision for studio maternity portraits. Madison shared with me that her and dad-to-be enjoy being outdoors with their animals. They love to be around family and friends and to explore new places. This is their first baby together and they are both so excited. Even though she came to her maternity session alone and captured mama-only maternity portraits, it was a special way to capture this amazing time for her, dad-to-be and their growing family.

Connecticut Maternity Photography

Madison is a gorgeous mama-to-be who looked absolutely stunning wearing jeans and an open dress shirt for a more casual look along with the white draping fabric for her standing maternity poses, but her in the white grecian look featuring water was perhaps my favorite looks of them all. So simple and yet so unique of a look to capture for a maternity portrait. The maternity draping dress she wore was borrowed from my extensive maternity client wardrobe that is available to all maternity clients to use for their sessions. The maternity client wardrobe is carefully curated with beautiful gowns from Sew Trendy Accessories selected to fit the couture and boutique style of maternity photography. Mamas love having a selection of dresses and gowns to choose from to use for their pregnancy photos, and I am always happy to include these as part of scheduling your maternity session with Melissa Hartigan Photography.

As a Maternity and Newborn Photographer, every day I get the pleasure of meeting expectant couples and families that will soon will be welcoming their new baby. Not only do I love being a maternity and newborn photographer, but I also love photographing babies of all ages and capturing all the baby milestones.  As quick as the pregnancy and newborn stages pass, so does a baby’s first year and all the different stages.
