I specialize in maternity, newborn, baby milestone, children, senior and family photography. I love to capture special events in people’s lives and give them heirloom quality photographs they can cherish forever of their new baby and as a family. Maddie Baby Pics – Middlesex County Newborn Photography

Katie and Matthew were expecting their first baby and didn’t want to miss the opportunity for a newborn session and capturing their baby’s first days fresh into this world. Being referred to Melissa Hartigan Photography from a beloved client of mine, mom-to-be and dad-to-be connected with me about their baby’s newborn session and reserving their due date. A referral is the sweetest compliment and the best advertising that a business could ever ask for, but for a small business owner who not only provides a professional, but personal service as well, word-of-mouth referrals are the cherry on top. Katie’s parents were thrilled to be welcoming a grandchild, and knowing the special memories that newborn photography provides for new parents and families, they gifted mama and dad with a gift certificate towards the Cherished Newborn Session.

When arrived to the studio as a family of three for their Cherished Newborn Session, I couldn’t help but adore how tiny and petite Maddie was. She slept for much of the session, only waking for short periods to check things out and have some mom and dad cuddles, and then she was right back to sleep. Working with newborn babies during posing and photographing, we always go off baby’s cues and just go with the flow of it all.

Baby Girl Newborn Pictures Purple, White & Cream Colors – Newborn Photography Middlesex County

Mom wanted purple, white and cream colors all paired together for Maddie’s newborn session setups. From light and soft purple color tones that were mixed with whites and creams, to shades of purple just a bit darker for a bit of pop. Not only did Maddie steal the show with how sweet and petite she was, but she posed so well during her newborn session and I captured so many setups and adorable poses of her that her mama and dad can look back on and love forever.

The Newborn Session Experience with Melissa Hartigan Photography

As a boutique newborn photographer in CT, I love offering clients a multitude of color choices for their newborn sessions.
