Expecting a baby is such an exciting time in your life, and documenting your pregnancy is a wonderful way to celebrate bringing your baby into the world while waiting for your baby to arrive. Maternity photography is among my favorite sessions to photograph for the beautifulness of a blooming pregnancy. When a client schedules a maternity and newborn session with MHP, I am documenting their beautiful moments as new parents-to-be. For this sweet family from Broad Brook in East Windsor CT, this is a little glimpse into their beautiful journey into parenthood with their second baby.
Jennifer Heirloom Maternity Pics – Maternity Photography East Windsor
Due with their second baby back in December, Jennifer and Eric contacted me to schedule their maternity session with the Heirloom Maternity Session and capture their precious pregnancy moments while they awaited the birth of their second little love. Having documented and captured all their precious moments with their first baby; their maternity, newborn, sitting up and one-year milestones, as well as a Santa session, they didn’t hesitate to book another newborn session and reserve their second baby’s due date. The Heirloom Maternity Session is a wonderful session choice for parents looking to capture this special time in their life before their family grows just a little bit bigger.
Capturing their maternity session during the month of September, they opted to capture their pregnancy photoshoot outdoors where they could take advantage of all the beautiful scenery. Jennifer is a gorgeous mama-to-be with the sweetest of smiles and looked absolutely stunning in the cream maternity gowns that she selected to wear; motherhood looks amazing on her, Dad is excited to welcome another baby and big brother Conner was so excited to be a part of the photoshoot and show his love for his unborn sibling.

Jennifer wanted to go for a completely different stylized look than we captured for their first maternity session and she picked out soft creams and whites for her maternity gown colors. Every gown she selected to wear looked absolutely stunning on her. The maternity dresses she wore for their session were borrowed from my extensive maternity client wardrobe closet that is available to all maternity clients to use for their sessions. The maternity client wardrobe is carefully curated with beautiful gowns from Sew Trendy Accessories to fit the couture and boutique style of maternity photography. Mama’s love having a selection of dresses and gowns to choose from to use for their pregnancy photos, and I am always happy to include these as part of booking your maternity session with Melissa Hartigan Photography.
As a Maternity and Newborn Photographer, every day I get the pleasure of meeting expectant couples and families that will soon will be welcoming their new baby. Not only do I love being a maternity and newborn photographer, but I also love photographing babies of all ages and capturing all the baby milestones. As quick as the pregnancy and newborn stages pass, so does a baby’s first year and all the different stages.
