Expecting a baby is such an exciting time in your life, and documenting your pregnancy is a wonderful way to celebrate bringing your baby into the world. Maternity photography is among my favorite sessions to photograph. When a client schedules a maternity session with MHP, I am documenting their beautiful moments as new parents-to-be. For Veronica and Raul this is a little glimpse into their beautiful journey into parenthood with their first baby.
Heirloom Studio Maternity Pictures – Manchester CT Maternity Photography
Veronica and Raul expecting their first baby traveled from Manchester CT for their maternity photos. Like most expecting parents-to-be do, they go online and search on search engines like Google or social media platforms like to find a photographer to capture their pregnancy and document these joyful moments with professional maternity photos. Veronica found me on Instagram and booked their Heirloom Maternity Session to capture her pregnancy with their first baby, a boy.
Maternity holds a special place in my heart because I absolutely love capturing this special time for a new mama and dad-to-be. Maternity photos can be as fun, serene or as classic as you’d like when documenting the natural and beautiful moments of pregnancy. Whether captured in studio or outside on location, maternity sessions are a beautiful way to keepsake the journey into parenthood. Veronica had her heart set on capturing her maternity session in studio for timeless and heirloom styled look to their maternity images. She looked absolutely beautiful captured in the long blue dress and as a couple these two have a whole lot of love for their unborn baby boy.

The maternity dresses Veronica wore during her studio maternity session were borrowed from my studio client wardrobe closet that is available to all maternity clients to use for their sessions. The maternity client wardrobe is carefully curated with beautiful gowns brought in from Sew Trendy Accessories to fit the couture and boutique style of maternity photography. Mamas love and have always appreciated having a selection of couture dresses and gowns to choose from to use for their pregnancy pictures, and I am always happy to include these as part of scheduling your maternity session with Melissa Hartigan Photography. Choosing a maternity gown from my collection leaves my clients with one less expense to worry about for their session, and I’m always happy to offer these gowns to my clients.

As a professional photographer in Connecticut providing Maternity and Newborn Photography, every day I get the pleasure of meeting expectant couples and families that will soon will be welcoming their new baby. Not only do I love being a maternity and newborn photographer, but I also love photographing babies of all ages and capturing all the baby milestones throughout their first year of life. As quick as the pregnancy and newborn stages pass, so does a baby’s first year and all the different stages. It is so important to document these memories with professional pictures before these fleeting moments are over and gone forever.
